@genterara: you replied to a comment on an article that's almost 2 years old?! :/

@da5id_nz: nope, this is very much against google map's TOS :(

@MrJinks: reality to the guy with head in the sand, yes osx users are safer but they are not more secure.

Not only TimeWarner but also Comcast is piggy-backing on Cablevision's hotspots as can be seen by this image

@aja175: yes, absolutely. i personally question the idea of using regular packing tape, but some sort of screen protector is a sensible thing to do.

@reluttr: hmm..i'd still be hesitant to do it on my resistive touchscreen

hmm..I'm hesitant to do because I've seen some packing tape once removed leave dried up residue, not sticky gunk but dried up..i don't think that can be easily removed from a sensitive touchscreen..

@aja175: it's easier to replace that peace of tape than a $300 phone.

Interestingly enough today i had to clean up another computer infected with one of those Fake Anti-virus and i had very good luck with McAfee’s Stinger tool [fileforum.betanews.com]

    VOTE: TimeMachine on OSX

@idrumgood: and if there's some file extension which i did not include.. :/

if only gmail allowed me to sort messages BY SIZE, then i could easily delete the largest irrelevant ones. 10-20 large attachment ones will free up more space than 100 tiny msgs

@JohnnyIdaho: All marketing people deserve that pain and a lot worse for sending out html emails!

@Richard Servello: google docs doesn't share in realtime. it's near-realtime. you can't see as somebody literally types letter by letter.

@MajSh: to force more people to go to their website after reading excerpts to increase their hits so they could charge more for ads.

@piesforyou: to force more people to go to their website to increase their hits so they could charge more for ads.

@Styyl: yes, let's judge final software that is almost a year away based on an unfinished beta version that has debug mode compiled in.
