"Your Zuko costume's pretty good, but your scar's on the wrong side."
"Your Zuko costume's pretty good, but your scar's on the wrong side."
It's because Zuko was a more interesting character than Aang (even though I adore Aang, it's undeniable). And this way the writers can further differentiate the new and old Avatars.
I don't, but mostly because of how shocking "Zuko Alone" was. Like, you knew that Ozai had given him his scar and that he also had a diabolical sister, but that episode offered so much more insight into what Zuko's mysterious childhood had been like. This episode was amazing, but I didn't find it really shocking at…
Not just in the title. That scene where Korra chopped her hair off was remarkably like the one where Zuko and Iroh did the same (admittedly a different episode), and Korra reminded me of Zuko talking to Iroh in "Zuko Alone" when she told the spirits she needed to figure things out on her own.
It was nice to see the show utilize the only good thing about the live-action movie: the soundtrack.
I'm sorry I missed it. xD
I'm also excited because Kuvira differs from them all in another way: she's female!
Well, and Kai did say helping people seemed to be his calling. Perhaps he truly feels/felt like he could do that with Kuvira. It really is an interesting narrative move, as well, as it makes the show more gray. They allied a well-liked character that is very much on the side of good with the new villain. And the new…

I liked the Catherine fake-out, because I totally thought that she was pretending to be sick to distract Mary as her minions went about killing people, and not that Mary was actually pulling the strings.
There are people who take the Bible completely literally?
According to Wikipedia, marriages between cousins account for 10% of marriages worldwide.
BrosBeforeBanners…
That's such BS. Every boy and girl wants a Toph action figure.
I mean…it's better than it not being aired at all….
I listen to too much Kpop to find any of these lyrics weird.
I read the title of this as "Warner Bros. is celebrating Friends by opening a real Central Park in New York City".
"Why would I choose cosmic energy over Katara?! How could it be a bad thing that I feel an attachment to her? Three chakras ago that was a good thing!"
Haha, that's wonderful. xD
That's a good point. I've been trying to figure out since LoK started why it just wasn't as good as the original series for me. In the first season, I attributed it to less impressive bending and less interesting characters. Less impressive bending became irrelevant S2, and less interesting characters this season. I…
