She said she would not be interviewed by any white journalist. You have a different interpretation?

Exactly. I was about to make that point. Everyone except Tucker Carlson objected to it.
Of course Fox News is not going to call out Trump. But everyone else did.
There is actually a difference between only doing interviews with the Fox fan boys and choosing only to talk to people of a certain race. But the original fact remains, Trump was a dumpster fire, so excusing this behavior by the Chicago mayor by referencing that Tucker Carlson is mad is no argument at all.
I think it is real sad if only whites are upset by this.
The chief executive of the 3rd largest city in the U.S. lets it be known that she categorically wont talk to white journalists. And you do not think this is a blow to the free press? Had she simply not taken requested interviews we would not be talking about this, but by actually stating this it crosses the line.
Not sure how the white leather will work with taking the dogs anywhere. But it does look cool. Acura has been lame for the past 15 years or so, so nice to see them get their act together on a non NSX vehicle.

Whose double standard? Tucker Carlson’s? That is even worse than comparing someone to Trump. She is the Mayor of one of the largest cities in the country, not some cable news talking head.
How do you know my opinion? What I know is that breaking society into different groups like Lebanon (Shia, Sunni, and Maronite) does not work well. Refusing to speak to certain journalists because of their skin color is an outrage to the First Amendment. Full stop.
You are losing the argument when the response is “Well Trump did it”. Now Trump is the standard for analyzing a free press?
Based on your logic children should not be allowed to travel in cars. Its all about how much risk you are willing to take. There are costs and benefits to any decision re: Covid reduction.
Straight up Jalopnik Legend.
This is wrong, no one buys a shitty Malibu and based on that purchase goes out and buys a Corvette later in life. Ford does it right. They sell F150s faster then the can build them with buyers willing to pay, they sell Mustangs, and Broncos. They sell a few other models like the explorer mainly to the police, but the…
Yes, but if every trial was reversed because a potential juror lied every trial would be reversed. The judge is going to have to figure out if this juror was able to be fair and impartial despite going to the march. The whole idea that a juror is going to have a blank slate and open mind on all the evidence in the…
Does Nintendo own Mitsubishi because that looks like a a Devine Beast. My mind is blown.
I agree, but I do not think this is procedural. This is a factual question, is the juror so biased that a fair trial was impossible. I.E. due process which is anything but actually procedural despite its name.
This guy is Tracy’s long lost twin. Where does he keep all these cars? Enquiring minds want to know. And that scarlet and grey aerostar does look amazing.
Appeal courts do not like to reverse a decision reached by a jury, especially if that trial took many weeks. So I think at the end of the day it is going to come down to what the trial judge determines (in other words-and without reading Minnesota case law-the judge had wide discretion) and will not be reversed by…
