I totally agree with you. It is a tool of analysis.  It is that some people (generally not specialists) get an idea in their mind and either are for or against it, but not really understanding that it is not the end all and be all of analysis.

I think that is the gun fan’s talking point every time this happens. I cannot imagine having a hand gun in a home, if anyone will be killed with it, it will be a family member or a little kid finding it and “playing” with it. I too was not allowed to play with toy guns as a kid.
