Sorry, but I don’t think any space-themed 50s set film with a desert town setting can compete with “The Vast of Night”.

Maybe they should try Rastifying Wednesday by 10% or so?

They’re really socking it to that Modern Hollywood guy again! He must work there or something.

When Campbell isn’t onscreen, the other characters should be saying things like “Where’s Sidney?” and “Oh no, my organs!”

The cycle of being a film fan: “Spielberg is great!” to “Spielberg is overrated blockbuster sentimentality, I only watch art films” to “Spielberg is a talented director”

I’m not really against this movie in any way, and I think I’ll probably go see it, but the line “movies are dreams” might be the most annoying line in a trailer I’ve heard in the past five years.

can’t watch this unless they edit out michelle william’s haircut

But how  do you not meet your hero when it is yourself?

Sounds tedious.

“As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a filmmaker.”

Just implying this movie sounds like self-indulgent navel-gazing

Good thing Jimmy Kimmel wasn’t there.

...you probably think I’d go down on you in a theater...

What’s wrong with Cleveland?

Westworld got so bad, they paid them to *not* make another season.

DOLORES DIED ON THE WAY BACK TO HER HOME PLANET

I wish this got a theatrical release. I think the studio would have been pleasantly surprised.

They really did a number on that Californian guy. Somebody who writes for the show must be from there!

“That happens a lot in Weird, which boasts a high enough hit-to-miss ratio in its gags to succeed as a comic biopic but can’t help milking the gags that hit until their freshness evaporates.”
