Perez’s best move was to stay put. He still has an outside shot at a Ferrari seat.

He’s always dreamed of a factory ride because it could get him on the podium.
He took this factory ride for the paycheck, and I don’t blame him. I’m sure he knows he just moved back 6 or 8 grid spots (based on current Renault performance), but unfortunately he’s now too old to get a top seat, and he missed out when

That looks like everything but flights. Still sounds like a good deal.

I really, really, really hope this works for him. If anyone on the grid deserves a top car, it’s him.

The engine is now up to snuff, they must be putting their development budget towards the new car now, they should be decent.

I think this is a good move, a factory team with funds is a much better place for Nico that SFI. This team has 4 championships as an engine supplier with RB and two world championships with Fernando all in the pretty recent past. Add 20 million in the bank for Nico and this is a good move.

I think Palmer. For some reason I feel like Magnussen has had a better overall grip with the car. That said, it’s also his second season racing an F1 car, so Palmer deserves a break too.

They should be mid-tier at the very least next year. This year’s chassis was really just slapped together in time to field a team for the season. It’s basically just a show car.

Package details:

I’m not rich...but this kind of sounds like a deal.

The mother-in-law has no bearing at all on how old the Bern is.

Ol’ Bern doesn’t have to go far for motorboating.

Bernie doesn’t believe in an eye for an eye. He believes in two eyes for an eye.

Under Brazilian law, kidnapping is a crime where the State will prosecute, no matter what the victim wants. Bernie doesn’t have to pay anything for this (unless he wants extra rape for these guys in prison) and can’t have his own lawyers take part in the proceedings.

What nirvana do you live in? Round these parts (Central NJ), most people lose their silver CR-V in the Wegman’s parking lot and have to use the panic button to locate it.

There’s a cultural thing about engine size going on, too: Europeans always believed that smaller = more efficient. Americans... well, Americans just love everything BIG. Small = weak in the American mind.

Seriously? Those things are ubiquitous in the DC area.

That goes for anything turbocharged... but twin turbo 6s have proven themselves to be exceptionally good engines and I would definitely not mind seeing more of them.

or V8

How about bringing back decent V6s in cars?
