As a PC gamer, this is one of my biggest pain points for console gaming. Opening steam or battle.net will automatically update my game and I can play it whenever I want. I have to do a lot more work to update console games and if I get the urge to play them, I’m instead stuck waiting for some stupid update to finish.

I don’t think this is foolproof... we tried to do a price match for a dyson vacuum at Home Depot using the Costco price. Home depot will usually price match and give an additional 10% discount. They wouldn’t do it for Costco though.

Sorry for slow reply, but beer is actually better in a warm glass. Beer in America is served too cold. The colder the beer, the easier it is to hide the terrible flavor. Many US breweries serve their beer a bit warmer like they have been doing in Europe for forever. When I take a beer out of the fridge, I usually let

I bought mine from Costco. Costco has a very relaxed return policy. Before I purchased, I called customer service and asked them how long I have to return the mattress if I don’t like it. Their response was basically “Meh, whenever.” A year down the line? Sure! They are seriously amazing like that. I once saw some

I pretty much only use a shaker pint. I don’t have room in my kitchen for all these different types of glasses. Most of my family don’t even use glasses. After my trip to Europe, though, beer seems to taste so much better poured in a glass.

Hah it wasn’t really. My keyboard shifts all the time on my desk and so I move it back. I used to get lazy and pull it back by the keys. The ESC key popped off because of that and the crappy plastic holder broke

I forgot to mention here that this keyboard also has super easy sound control, which was a must for me. I also use some of the macros for gaming. I’ve used some of the other mechanical keyboards that have NOTHING other than just the basic keys. They cost the same as logitech too! Boring.

I’m planning to get this as soon as my 710+ dies. How do the switches feel? What are they closest to in terms of the Cherry switches?

I will NEVER buy Razer products again. I had a RAZER headset that lasted maybe 11 months. Pathetic. My mouse has broken twice already as well. They made me cut the cord and take a picture of it before sending it back. Their build quality is unfortunately sub-par.

Can confirm that the keycaps break a little too easily. I have the 710+. Logitech support replaced the whole damn keyboard for one broken keycap. It was infuriating having to deal with their support in that way. I just try to be extra careful when using the keyboard now. No nerd-raging for me. Other than that, the

AZ here. Not really an issue :)

This is apparently pretty common with medical bills. They charge higher up front, then offer discounts if you pay early and in full. My ER bill was around $1000 after insurance got billed. I called to pay and they said I only owed ~300 since I was paying early.

I had a filet mignon at a fancy restaurant a few weeks ago. It was the worse filet mignon I’ve ever had. I tried everything I could think of to make it better: asked for au jus, steak sauce or steak butter (they had none, salt, my wife’s scallop sauce, the mashed potatoes, bread butter. NOTHING worked! Finally I just

Virtual desktops are used to help make people more productive. Ask yourself how often you actually look at your wallpaper. I have a bunch of awesome rotating wallpapers from digital blasphemy that I only see in the morning when I log in to my computer. Otherwise, I never see them.

I recently quit caffeine and soda. I lost at least 10 lbs immediately after doing that (about 5% of my bodyweight). If you’re interested in doing that, I recommend a wean down. If you drink 4 sodas a day, start with 3.5, then 3, then 2.5, etc. I drank lipton’s carbonated sparkling tea for the final wean down. It was

Other great gaming snacks: Carrots, bell peppers, sweet peas, cheese sticks, deli meat (not too much), yogurt, unfrozen grapes, celery + PB, low amount of peanut butter stuffed pretzels (good energy + protein ratio), fruit snacks (okay, not really, but they at least get you some vitamin C), apples, pears, bananas,

Part 2 of this series... poop/vomit stories.

The double title thing is really annoying:

I can’t wait to install this when I get home! I’ve been following LH for years and had no idea this existed. Shame on me!

Maybe you guys could pull someone in here from Kotaku if you don’t know, but how do I position my troops at the setup of a battle so they can face the proper direction in Total War 2: Rome? This is before I click start battle. Also, is there a keyboard shortcut to speed up the game?
