Advice for those looking to move up in a fortune 500. In my company, it's 10% accomplishment, 50% schmoozing, 50% likability, and 50% politics. Yup. You have to give 160%.

I board last when I have assigned seats. I always check my bag and never have a carry on other than a backpack, which goes under the seat in front of me. By boarding last, I can sit down, read a book, and chillax while others stand in line.

Just bought the monoprice headphones. I bought 2 mini-usb cables recently for my phone. 1 for work and 1 for home. My stupid cat loves the taste of the default samsung cables, so I can't use those anymore. I've bought probably 5 different cables to replace the monoprice ones. Tried all my cables for other

I could see it being useful for apps like clash of clans. Can quickly go to clash in between other games I'm playing without having to waste my phone's battery

We use sifting cat litter liners. You can get them at wal-mart for cheap. You put the solid liner on the bottom, then about 5 sifting liners on top of that, then the litter on top. When it's time to clean the cat litter, you pick up one liner, shake it, put it into a plastic bag and you're done. Found this out

Ugh... this is a great article, but incredibly hard to read. I have a dog for the first time in my life and she is amazing. I can't even imagine losing her. Luckily she's only 2. The part about getting rid of her old stuff was good - I am too practical that I wouldn't even think of that. Thank you for having the

Don't need this app. My computer can run pretty much any game #nerdflex.

I have everything on this list:

I had one 24" gaming monitor for the longest time due to size limitations of my tiny desk. We finally upgraded our desk and I got a newer, better 24" gaming monitor. For games like SC2 and LoL, having a hugenormous monitor is actually a burden because you need to be able to see the entire screen without having to

Disappointed not to see Schwab on this list. Schwab is as versatile, if not more versatile than others on the list, and larger than most of the companies on the list. Fidelity is a private company, so it's hard to tell.

Intel?

I can't see the video because it's youtube, but when I thought about doing this for my entertainment center, I was worried about the fan noise interrupting the quiet, dramatic parts of movies.

If you're a Costco shopper, and we've highlighted more than a few reasons you may want to be, American Express' Costco TrueEarnings cards gets you 2% cash back on your purchases at Costco (in the form of a rewards coupon) that can get up to $4000 per year. You also get 2% cash back on travel purchases, a full 3% cash

I recommend the True Earnings Amex card. 3% gas, 2% restaurants and travel, 1% at everywhere else. Plus, it doubles as your Costco card on the back!

In general, I think stores with great customer service do this too. I was at Costco the other day looking at their 75" TVs and asked a Costco rep what their policy is if the price drops. He said I have 60 days if the price drops and if it's past 60 days, I can always return it within the 90 day window.

Bed Bath and

This looks neat, but I like the portability of my case. My dad gave me a metal case that has a slot for each drill bit. I was putting in fixtures over the weekend and was glad to have the case with me as I needed to change out drill bits.

Hah, nothing. Rick Steves specializes in Europe. We went to Europe =P

And yes, I meant waist.

Yes indeed. I also had a Rick Steves under-clothes pack that wraps around my waste that was amazing. I felt like our valuables were protected once I started using that.

Yes, we thought of that... it's just he looked like a miscreant. It was kind of suspicious in the way that his friend was helping other foreigners in a very similar manner. They could just be good samaritans, but we both found that very hard to believe. Maybe we were just jilted from coming from beautiful London

My wife and I visited Europe for my month long sabbatical last year. We experienced a few of these scams, but luckily weren't taken by any of them.

Rose for Your Girlfriend: Saw this in Rome. We just emphatically said no over and over till he walked away.

Street Games: Was aware of this before we left via Rick Steves.
