Our comment about cynicism was directly in response to his choice of what films to complete. It's entirely reasonable to connect the two thoughts as a result.

Not being obsessed enough to watch films to the exclusion of all other pursuits, as you were when you were averaging 3 films a day, does not define cynicism.

It's not cynical, it's a reflection of not having an unlimited amount of time. to watch movies 200 through 700 in their entirety for the year.

You really don't see that calling his decision making "unfathomable" and "cynical"and that as a result you have to take his work with a "grain of salt" as a direct and personal criticism?

His time is limited. He has to pick and choose what films he watches all of on top of the over two hundred he has to watch anyway. What part of that is so unimaginable to you?

I'm suggesting that he perhaps doesn't have an infinite amount of time to watch 500 more movies to completion to please you.

He's watched 204 full films this year. I would think a film would have to be pretty compelling to get wedged into that schedule.

I got to try a VR system Disney was developing for their parks 10 or so years ago. The visuals were pretty good. However the helmet was so heavy that it needed a cable from the ceiling to take part of the weight. I assume that's why it never was introduced.
