Accident insurance doesn’t cover engines grenading themselves. Not sure why that’s even a factor. Other than to show the driver is a bit sketchy. Not sure how you have “lapse” in insurance. I feel like it might be one of those fly by night insurance companies that sets you up with a one month coverage to get your car

I read his Wikipedia as soon as he was picked. He’s an impressive dude. I like him. We are a military family and I would appreciate having someone in the Vice Presidency who has served this country in that way and understands what that means and the impact serving has on families and even communities. He’s been a

Yeah, that’s a pretty scary example, I admit, lol.

Not really a problem. They are parts from a fairly recent Cadillac and Cadillac is still very much in business. It’s not like it was a Saab or something. They’re not going to stop making replacement parts for it for some time. The centerstack was actually used on all Cadillacs of that era, including the ATS, CTS, XTS,

Counterpoint: the centerstack and instrument pod share absolutely nothing with the Volt. This was a $75,000+ vehicle. Its interior wasn’t saddled with any carryover Chevy dreck. It didn’t fail for being a bad car or poorly built or kitted. It failed for being a small front drive coupe from GM that cost $75,000.

It makes sense if you look at Audis the way BMW and Mercedes customers view Audis. To some, Audi is the red-headed stepchild of the luxury set. Its FWD origins are the main sticking point. Despite their very good AWD systems, there is a set of customers that won’t see anything without a front engine rear drive setup

That’s a good point. But it’s also something that could be automated and have a customization setting. We have auto wipers. Why not tie them to the headlamps and have a setting that turns on your head (and tail) lamps when it’s raining?

I mean, takes that people disagree with aren’t necessarily dumb. Just not popular. But I’ve also read some popular takes that were pretty dumb.

I mean… that’s a very specific scenario with a pretty old car. Cars built today would not have those issues and I’ve never had to turn my headlight on or off since I bought mine and set it to auto.

This “problem” has literally never been a problem for me. I’m with you. I think there is definitely a balance between screens and physical controls. I don’t want all screens and I don’t want all physical, but touchscreens don’t scare me. There are so many things on cars that can now be automated to the point that you

Probably a refurb. Previous owner cocked up the bumper slightly and the paint was looking worn so they did a little body work and gave it a respray. Could explain the clean title while still having these discrepencies.

I’ve always liked the cleanliness of this car’s design.  It’s not beautiful and the proportions are a bit awkward, especially at the rear, and yet, I still like it.  There’s no frippery.  And I think the price is pretty good too.  NP.

Wheels needed to be white, damn it. Not black.

A lot of this will depend on what you consider a “sports car”. Some would say the Camaro is a pony car not a sports car. But a pony car is a sub set of sports car. All pony cars are sports cars. Not all sports cars are pony cars.

The Lexus UX is the best choice given here, and I dig the taillight fins for some reason. I’d go Volvo XC40, personally. Both are significantly smaller than the other terrible options given in this post, being that they are almost the same size as the X5.

I wouldn’t mess with Elon. The guy is huge...

I’d agree. Ijust don’t think the regulations are that granular. In fact, it would be easier for the automakers to meet regulations by making smaller, more efficient cars. But the regulations only refer to cars sold, not cars made. So investing in smaller EVs that don’t sell is doubly bad, because they’ll lose money on

I was a conservative for all of my adult life, but I have slowly become more and more liberal in my viewpoints over the past 8 years. And Donald Trump is one of the main reasons. His rhetoric and actions have laid bare the conservative agenda for what it is. An attempt to change this country into an autocratic,

It’s simply making what customers are saying they want through their buying preferences. Automakers would love to make smaller cars and EVs, if people would actually buy them. But they don’t. They buy big behemoths.  So they make big behemoth EVs.

Trump says that Unions are “allowing jobs to go overseas”? How can anyone who understands anything think that this is a reality based viewpoint?
