We are an “Amazon Special” Hydro Cell household.

I usually default to De Cecco. Barilla is all marketing, the majority of their pastas are sub-standard. Rao’s looks good. The key for me is the color. The lighter the color, the better the pasta. Take these two for instance.

Stop. Doug Demuro is a national treasure. Is he probably incredibly annoying to be around? Sure. Does he make some pretty basic observations and act like they are profound? Sure. But no one does a deep dive into a car like Doug. You want to know how the weird window switch in the Volvo EX30 works? Watch a Doug Demuro

OK, so why has there never been an article entitled “Guardrails Were Not Designed for Semi Trucks” in the 120 or so years since semi-trucks were invented and have been continuously traveling on our country’s guard railed roads and highways? They weigh far more than any SUV.

I’d observe that guardrails aren’t really designed to stop ANYTHING that’s heading straight at them at highway speeds. They are designed to keep cars traveling parallel to the rail from driving further off the road if they veer off course for some reason.

I usually underestimate the size of these things. When I envisioned the Mars rover, I envisioned something the size of a large RC car. It’s really the size of an actual car. When I thought of the mars helicopter, I thought, again, of something RC sized.  But this thing has a rotor span of 4 feet.

I’ll probably catch some heat for this, but the new Accord looks like the “boring car” used in a 90's car commercial where the world is filled with the same grey non-descript car and then the red, exciting car appears and stands out against the sea of mediocrity.

Worth it.

Just of the series I’ve seen, here’s what I can recommend:

Genre:
Monarch
Invasion
Foundation
Silo
Hello Tomorrow!
Severence

Comedy:
Ted Lasso
Shrinking
Mythic Quest
Trying

Drama:
Morning Show
For All Mankind
Truth be Told
Home Before Dark

And there’s still more I want to watch.   That’s like a solid year of shows for a

Right? It’s the only war in modern history where the good and evil sides were so clear cut. Like, there was legitimate evil going on and the rest of the world joined forces to stop it. Now, it’s war, so there was bad stuff that was happening on both sides, but yeah. And it also happens to be the biggest conflict in

Apple TV+ is really killing it in the content department.  So many great shows.

This was me with Taco Bell. They are dead to me. You have to find a reliable Wendy’s. Fast food staffing is in horrible shape right now.

In other news, salsa literally means “sauce”. A blended salsa is still a salsa, despite being thinner. I wouldn’t call a hot sauce a “salsa” but in Mexico, they do. “Salsa picante” in Mexico is hot sauce. Usually Cholula or Valentina if it’s the red variety.

Here’s a good article.

Are we gatekeeping burrito condiments now? Maybe just put on what you like and/or have available. If I had to choose between Cholula and a Pace style “salsa” like you’d get at a fast food place, I’d choose cholula every time. Because it doesn’t taste like jalapeno flavored spaghetti sauce. If you then gave me the

Thanks for getting me out of the greys. I’ve been an approved commenter for more than a decade. I even had an 800+ star COTD a few years ago. I like making clear and concise comments with pictures and a smattering of opinion and/or humor. Then, for some reason last month, I was sent to the greys. All attempts to ask

Such a bizarre car. So much money spent to make two completely different versions of what is essentially the same car. No wonder Nissan struggled and still hasn’t completely turned the corner. Decisions like this.

Agreed. In the luxury SUV space, the RR Cullinan has far more presence and uniqueness.  This looks like any other VAG SUV.

Lol, was literally going to say the same.

It wasn’t. It was also a hatchback. But since it has two doors, and a lower roof, it somehow gets coupe status. Coupes have two doors and trunks or liftbacks. They do not have truncated hatches. Those are called 3 door hatches.

2010 marked the return of the Ford Fiesta to the U.S. market for the 2011 model year. Not the Focus. The Focus debuted a year later and I bought one. In fact I bought a used Fiesta two years after that when my wife made me trade in the Focus to get a Flex.

I agree it would be pretty dumb. The only segment that’s more dead than 4 door large sedans is 2 door large sedans. I agree with your concerns about naming conventions. Seems backward. I think they are trying to capitalize on the “Charger” name being associated with EVs. But it will definitely be 2-door and seems to
