Apple Carplay IS buggy. But those bugs mostly manifest when you try to actually use your phone while connected. If I’m parked and using my phone, or my wife is using hers while connected to Carplay, simple phone functions like swiping an app away will 90% of the time cause the radio to turn on. It’s so annoying I just…
Pretty sure that’s a Lambo, dude...
I’ve been watching Apple TV+ pretty exclusively lately. As soon as I finish one thing, something else pops up that I want to watch. And almost all of it has been good if not great. Shrinking is one of the rare comedies that nails numerous laugh out loud moments as well as real emotion. Silo started pretty slow but…
The last one is not a GMT400. It’s a mid 90's Dodge Ram. IRL, a few stepside models were produced, called “Ramside” which was an aftermarket conversion that used some GM parts and was sold through some participating dealerships. The tail lamps defintiely scream GMT400, but the front fender is all Ram.
I’ll admit I was sceptical. Years and years of training to believe men over women. But the guy is recorded saying what a great man he is and berating his partner for not being on his level and messing up “the plan”? OK, Kanye 2...
It’s become my go to subscription service. There are some better shows on other services but AppleTV+ has the most good shows in one place right now, some of which are just excellent.
Candy Canes need to be on this list. They can replace chocolate oranges, which are great.
I kept misundersatnding this quote. Why would you need the girls to leave you alone about liking boys?
Anyway, commas can completely change but also clarify the meaning of a sentence. We should use them more.
I keep hearing a lot about Severence. Why is it not on this list? I can’t speak to it myself, but have been intrigued by the frequent references to its brilliance. Seems odd that it didn’t show up on such a long list. Is it not as good as I’m hearing?
Edit: Nevermind. I guess it premiered last year, which would make it…
When I order on the app and pickup at the drive through (which I almost never do, because then I’m waiting for all the people who DIDN’T order on the app to get their food) I just pull up and say I have a mobile order for (my name). They say pull around, they give me my food, I go. You pay on the app.
McDonald’s, in…
For me it’s not superhero fatigue. It’s “spending money I can’t really afford to go out and see a movie” fatigue.
Place the Quesarito on the app-only menu and then use the slower sales to make it seem like killing it was a good idea. Why? This was my favorite item. Pretty much the only thing I ordered regularly.
I would accept a 5 mph buffer, passive warnings from 6-10mph over the limit, and an active governor past 10mph over. But only on highways. Exceeding the speed limit in residential and commercial areas is a recipe for death.
There’s no way to be “on” an empty road. As soon as you’re “on” it, it’s no longer empty. And all it takes is one other vehicle or pedestrian to also be “on” that road for you to be endangering lives.
On a semi-related note, I’ve never really been a “fan” of Taylor Switft, though I admit that quite a few of her songs are pretty catchy. It would stand to reason seeing as she’s one of the biggest music acts in the world.
I remember when it was:
Regular $X.29
Midgrade $X.39
Premium $X.49
Now it’s:
How can a game that replays the 13 year old events of a TV show that’s all but finished its run be considered a “quick cash grab”?
I like this car. Until I look at the wheel arches. The more I look at them, the more I think they might be the worst thing I’ve ever seen.
When you’re at a rest stop on a long road trip and you want to take a nap, do you get out of the driver’s seat and move to the passeneger seat? Because the “driver’s seat is only for driving”?
