I don’t even think you can open a new Dairy Queen franchise location unless it’s a Grill and Chill (formerly “Brazier”. Stellar name change, folks). The ice cream only locations with the walk up windows seem to be legacy locations only. And those Grill and Chills have a full menu. I used to love their burgers back in

Tropical Smoothie Cafe has a pretty big menu with numerous sandwiches, wraps, quesadillas, salads, breakfast items both hot and cold, and chips/cookies. On top of all their smoothies. They have a more diverse menu than any of the sandwich places that supposedly serve a full meal.

I stopped to pump gas and someone had stuck trump and anti-biden stickers all over the top of the pump.  Classy.

Those are DRLs on one particular aftermarket mustang from RTR.

Man, I missed being able to tell my story. It’s perfect to tell today though.

Of all the fake Ferraris made out of Fieros I’ve ever seen, this is, by far...

...the best one...

The difference would be very slight. This looks huge. Though the perceived distance from edge of bumper to tire seems the same on both sides. it definitely looks wrong but I won’t rule out camera shenanigans.

Ummm, this car is broken. One wheel going one way and the other pointed straight, lol. Is that a symptom of the “death wobble” I’m always hearing about?

I would say it’s the white van in Dearborn, MI that drives around with pictures of aborted fetuses plastered all over it.

Or the black van I just saw the other day with two giant flags hanging off the back that said “Jesus is my Savior. Trump is my President”.

Insurance companies are the absolute worst, bar none.  Their sole intention is to find ANY reason to deny your claims.  They do not have your best interests in mind, only their own.  Read the fine print.  Ask questions.  Lots of questions.

You put into words exactly what I was thinking. There is no combination of skill/confidence that makes this sort of driving safe. The problem is that at the speeds being carried, there is no time to react to other cars just doing normal car things at a legal speed. Like changing lanes.

I think it boils down to two things. One is the aforementioned auto headlamps taking care of the headlamp duties the vast majority of the time. The second is that on many trucks, the right stalk that would normally be used for wiper controls is removed and replaced with a column shifter. Even on cars this approach is

High beams still controlled through fore/aft motion of the stalk.

With auto headlamps and a digital switch that can default to auto headlamps whenever you turn the car on, you literally never have to touch your headlamp switch. In those rare cases where you do need to fiddle with your lights for some reason, a digital interface would be fine. It would sit unsused 99% of the time.

I like my cars to look more “pre-accident”.

I need more images of those headlamps in the uncovered state. The covers look pretty flimsy and would likely snap off when driven into the wind. Cool, no doubt. But never done in production.

Or, and you’ll have to go with me here...

Well, for instance...

I think the key to stainless steel’s popularity is in the name. You can clean it really easily and its resistant to staining. I don’t think aluminum would have the same durability. In fact, if raw aluminum is used, it loses its luster really quickly as it oxidizes. It would need to have a coat of paint of some sort.

Fridge doors for about the last 40 years have been made of plastic covered with some sort of veneer. That veneer used to be thin steel, textured and painted to prevent rust. More modern aestetics have moved toward stainless steel, which is probably the most popular finish with customers who want their kitchens to look
