@marc_with_a_c: Like I said...I'm a guy too, so obviously not all guys are being lumped into this lot. And really that was the part I took offense to in your original comment...the implication that sharing stories about bad dates implied that all men were like that. Just because a group of women tell stories about

@marc_with_a_c: If you wanted to share some funny stories or share a "we're not all as bad as these assholes" viewpoint, there were better ways to do it than to phrase it as "some of you are just as crazy" which comes across as "no you are! shut up!"

@judgingamy: Sorry - I didn't get that from your comment, but now that you've explained I will change my response to: "word."

@Tirannie: Better to let her know so she can start questioning/being more alert for signs of infidelity/getting herself tested for communicable diseases, than to let her go on completely clueless and potentially at risk.

@judgingamy: Meeting someone online has nothing to do with it and when you say things like that, you sound like my mother. You could have the same problem with someone you met at a bar or while volunteering or something like that. The only reasonably safe way to meet someone these days is through a friend or family

@marc_with_a_c: Why are you coming on a feminist-oriented newsblog with mostly female readership/commenters and posting a comment that is basically picking an us vs. them fight? These stories are not about gender - we all know there are crazy people out there of both genders.

@missmel77: This kind of thing could happen with someone you met at a bar or through an extra-curricular activity just as much as through onlien dating sites.

Oh YAY! The comment I nommed made it in! WOOT!!!

@SunburnedCounsel: Me too. And I just pasted it into an IM to a friend who I knew would also enjoy it.

This makes me equal parts sad and filled with rage. Especially the part about the guys who flash young teens and the girl who had her hand covered in cum while she was passed out. That is infuriatingly disgusting and these sickos make me ashamed of my gender.

@Apollinarius: You are incorrect. As @la.donna.pietra has already said, Joss was the original creator and wrote the first movie. The reason he doesn't own the rights (and thus the power to stop this) is because the rights belong to the producers of the movie. The same people who butchered his script and made the

@Thus Spake Kate is effulgent.: I think you answered #2 in #4. This will never be canon. It seems as though they are writing a completely new series as if the original one never existed. Excuse me while I vomit all over my shoes.

Hasn't Buffy died enough deaths without this stake through the heart?

@PorkStore: I like to think cats are just baddasses with authority problems. Which I can strongly relate to. "Yeah, I pooped on your rug. What of it?" :-D

@PorkStore: I've had cats who have been able to learn right and wrong and who know exactly how to sucker their owner into petting and forgiving them after they get caught doing something bad.

@snacktastic: And this is what i predict will happen when Basement Cat comes for her.

Hell, ladies, I've already stalked you all on LinkedIn. I had to know if we had any mutual contacts. Cuz I'm weird like that.
