Palmetto bugs ARE cockroaches.

Actually the show wasn't cancelled. It ended. Big difference.

Joey never slept with Rachel, actually. That's why their relationship didn't work out.

This is Inside the Actor's Studio, not just another stop on ye olde press junket. James Lipton asks some personal questions about the actors' pasts. It's not unusual at all.

Exactly. Doesn't make her a nasty person. Just maybe someone who needs better friends.

I don't think it was Dan Savage doing a bad job of communicating—-I think you did a bad job of reading the words that he wrote. No offense but he literally say (and I'm paraphrasing but it couldn't be plainer in the above quote) that rather than give women the sexual freedoms we'd allowed men, we inflicted the same

My mother somehow has me trained to ask for her advice on every big decision I am making in my life. However, since we are VERY different and I oftentimes think she is crazy and doesn't know what she's talking about, this leads to us getting into fights because I didn't blindly follow her crazy, unhelpful advice and

She sent it to a few friends. I'd hardly call that "publicly circulating".

Yeah but in this quote, Dan isn't saying that men are inherently non-monogamous and women are inherently monogamous. He's saying that men were always EXPECTED to be non-monogamous and allowed to have their fun on the side while women were kept locked up for their husbands only.

I don't feel bad for this guy at all.

@ididthatonce: If he's gay, I'm sure he's had plenty of penises in his hair too.

Oh I agree. And I thought the "counterpoint" was lazy and half-assed. But that doesn't change my views about the above comment. I don't see a little bit of objectification as wrong as long as it doesn't blanket your entire views of the sex you're objectifying. And I don't think enjoying the view of a woman's body,

So if you're against Hooters because all these ladies are is eye candy (ladies who chose to work there knowing full well what this place was for) then I assume you also have a problem with porn, Abercrombie & Fitch catalogs, go-go dancers, strip clubs and Teen Bopper magazines—-in which case I can't take you seriously

@LadyBlahblah: So men should never admire women's bodies because it's automatically misogynistic? What about women who admire men's bodies? Or men who admire the bodies of other men? Or lesbians who go to Hooter's for the eye candy?

Things change over time.

@happy_seal: Oh, well that I can agree with. I'd definitely trade Amanda Bynes Show (though I love her and own all of her movies) and K&K for Legends of the Hidden Temple and Nickelodeon Guts!

@LaComtesse: Agreed. Hook is amazing. RU-FI-OOOOO!!!!

@DesignatedDrinker: I bought the show on DVD and was disappointed that it didn't hold up into my adulthood. I was OBSESSED with that show and had the biggest gay-boy-who-hasn't-hit-sexual-puberty-yet crush on Larissa Oleynik.

@Rumzy: Yessss! Though that wasn't a 90's show.

@happy_seal: Don't be dissing All That. It was amazing. Vital Information? Katrina's Ross Perot impression? Pork on a stick? Randy and Mandy? Goodburger (which spawned an actual burger chain)?
