@TevK: So why don't your friends and family just buy you books in Kindle format? It would save them money.

@Drunken Economist: And content consumers need to understand that if there is no money going into producing their content, it's quality will quickly start to deteriorate (i.e. less worthy individuals will go into the business and it will fold).

@TalkyMeat: And the loser... authors, who already get paid too little.

My school email address no longer works and I never changed it. Jokes on them!

Nice, but all the books appear to be crooked. I like them to stand straight and tall, like a soldier at attention.

No, the John Wall Dance will not be dead until Al Gore performs his version for us.

@I Like Cheap Beer: Please, they didn't go to A&M. They just liked the color of those t-shirts.

I don't want the tabs to show up in Aero peek view. Does the Dev Channel allow this function to be turned off?

Would be good if they could work out some technical issues. Emails flash in and out of view while your reading them, email addresses don't show up as you type (only once you've tabbed out of it), and there is no native "delete button" (have to right click). Good concept, poor execution.

Question about how Lifehacker generates their stories: is it through Google Alerts and blogs? Because I remember a story on this from NPR a few years back and just realized you never cover NPR stories. Any reason?

This simplifies things for Google users. There have been multiple ways to share and post things using Picasa, Google Reader, GTalk, and Blogger. Now instead of going to each of these places to see what people are doing/sharing, I can just go to Buzz instead of duplicating everything on Facebook.

I'm a little disappointed that you didn't recommend putting nails in the wall to hang your pots. Or better yet, to get a pot rack. Especially considering the picture for this post.

How is Firebug Lite better than Chrome's built-in javascript debugger? I haven't used the Firebug Lite extension yet, but used the bookmarklet for IE in the past and was disappointed. I have been happily surprised by Chome's debugger as it often does things that Firebug can't. Has someone compared the two?

@elpendejo: He was injured in the game against the Ravens in November and placed on IR nearly a month before his death.

@BruschisBrewsky: Yes, but there is a strange correlation between the Bengals playing well and Chris Henry playing. Once Henry went IR, the Bengals schedule got much easier, yet they were playing worse...

uh-oh. They just said Sanchez had poise... cue Deadspin story...
