I think there are, it's just that people sneer at them too easily, dismiss them for being "brown and grey". I'll say, there are also a bunch of cartoonish looking games or cell shaded game without much to offer, visually.

I dont think the problem is the level of realism in graphics. The problem probably lies more in how many resources are poured into reaching and manipulating said levels of realism.
