That's… Actually a really good description. I'm using that.

But not with Aaron Sorkin writing it*
Amick is the kind of beautiful that is usually reserved for femme fatales in old detective novels.
It's weird. I really like Kristen Wiig, but she really didn't seem to be doing anything great in Ghostbusters. Whereas McCarthy was intentionally going for a subdued, Wiig just seemed tired.
Star Wars is a franchise that, similar to its fans, hates change. Even when the change is necessary, such as casting a lookalike actor for Tarkin (or using prosthetics) so many fanboys would complain. I can't imagine the makers wanted to rock the boat. That boat gives them money.
Thor 2 is definitely a lower tier Marvel movie, but it's still kind fun. The only actor who didn't seem that into it was Portman, and it shows. It e was also one of the funnier marvel movies up to that point, so it has that.
I think death tended to mean something in his shows even if the character came back later somehow, but I really can't say the same for the comics. I haven't read them, but they come off more like fanfiction than professional writers continuing a series they wrote/wrote for thanks to the resurrected fan favourites and…
The difference between leftism and liberalism is confusing my feverish brain
I knew very little about Your Name and came out of it so very surprised and enthusiastic. I wish our Oscars had nominated it for best animated film (not that it would have beaten Zootopia).
At least she hasn't suspiciously disappeared.
It was probably worse than the majority of the movies nominated in the other categories too.
Yeah, she obviously just looked (and might have been expecting to see La La Land) and saw the movie name. Still, unless the title is *above* Emma's name in big letters, i don't see how she wouldn't have noticed. Not that i blame her, but still, it's rough.
Armond White has officially brought Get Out down to 99%… *sigh*
I adore LLL, if it had won I would have been satisfied with the result. But, insofar as you can compare these two polar opposite movies, Moonlight was a great film and deserved the recognition.
I remember reading that Frank Capra and Frank Lloyd we're both nominated for best director, and the presenter just said "come and get it Frank!" And Capra danced down the aisle only to find out he meant Lloyd.
The best picture really did win best picture. That's bizarre.
She took less time to look at it, she probably thought he was doing a joke too with the silence.
Two possibilities: there are multiples for back up and this one got moved to the wrong pile. Or someone was trying to punk the Oscars.
Taraji P Henson is a damn delight
She didn't even paint those Big Eye things!
