Oh whoops, they're basically the same though right? Forgive my ignorance but channel surfing makes them look identical

I'm not American, so I have a very vague awareness of who this woman is, but do want to ask one thing: what exactly is up with The View? At least two women on it (Whoopi Goldberg and Sara Gilbert) seem like fairly reasonable, non-terrible people, but the show is so crass and often just plain insulting.

Chew is a great comic that i'm very slowly getting through (I usually only pick up the trades when i have some left over 'comic book' money). It's a joyous read: funny, heartwarming, weird, occasionally sad and, most crucially, never boring.

'I'm Here' sung by Cynthia Erivo. Something just happens when I listen to that.

I joined in 2009, as a result all statuses posted from a phone are in 'text language'. It is… embarrassing.

Believe me, my university has a ton of people who are basically the living embodiment of the straw man SJW. Perpetually offended, overly PC and pretty self-satisfied about both those things. People like that are why SJW is used as an insult.

A girl i worked with had to clean a bathroom stall that had been basically wallpapered with feces. Not to mention all the kids and their various excretions that we had to deal with. So yeah, pretty common, but maybe not hourly.

Any of you guys seen the YouTube comments on this movie's trailer? The most vile people come out on those things. They're worse than normal YouTube comments.

My first job was at a McDonalds. I hated it. Not because of the job itself, and i'll be the first to admit that i wasn't good at it, partly because I couldn't handle the constant beeping and yelling, but the managers were awful. Rude, uncaring, condescending and very often incompetent. I quit after three months

Cracks is one of those films where i want to recommend it to people just because of the performances. Eva Green and Juno Temple are fantastic despite the movie being uneven.

I like/enjoy a lot of his movies but the only ones i flat out love are Beetlejuice and Ed Wood (maybe Batman Returns too, depending on the day). These days more people are likely to recognise him as the guy who did Edward Scissorhands, which might explain why he's stuck so thoroughly to that formula for so long.

This isn't the first time I've heard this. Is it the culture of hospitals that the show gets right or is it the actual medicine?

I haven't seen it recently to judge quality, but people in their twenties adore that movie to a ridiculous degree. Nostalgia makes us not remember the crap bits of movies. Or how crap whole movies are as the case may be.

It's not Batman!

This news is the best news. I had no idea about this! Thanks!

I haven't read that one. But i was actually thinking recently about Gerald's Game. A novel, i know but i would be very intrigued by an adaptation.

The Long Walk (it's honestly one of my favourite things he's ever done).

That actually makes me think of the time I was at a party and someone had made vodka jelly slice and instead of just downing it in a gulp like everyone else I 'chewed' it and deliberated on the taste (it was good, i ate a lot of them).

I'm a whiskey person, which means that i have two drinks that i will literally never say no to: straight whiskey and bailey's Irish cream.

I actually entertained this thought regarding Once More, With Feeling (my favourite episode of the show). I think SMG is great in Buffy, and i've liked her in other things as well (e.g. Cruel Intentions and The Crazy Ones), but Bell doing that episode? That's like a thousand Christmases.
