I recently read The 39 Steps and… yeah. The book was okay, but the movie is great. I haven't read the source material for his other adaptations though.

People sort of forget that the franchise they love is really only the first movie. The second one was more of a cash grab than this one.

I do find that Schumacher's other work has been overshadowed by the terribleness of his Batman movies, so he's underrated if that's the only work people have seen.

No, Scully has X-Files. Gillian Anderson is an actress.
*chuckles inanely*

I don't know what you mean. Please explain it in intimate detail.

I love me some Gillian Anderson but whereas there is no reason not to cast Idris Elba as Bond, Bond is pretty notably not a woman. But this is just more reason to have Anderson star in spy movie franchise where she has a different male love interest/sex object every entry.

I was always so bummed that Posey never came back. She was a perfect fit for the character and this show's sense of humour.

You'd think after the massive critical and commercial successes of Bridesmaids, The Heat and Spy that people would stop judging these sorts of movies on their god damn terrible trailers.

She's a gorgeous singer, even if it isn't my style of music, so I'm a bit sad that she hasn't been able to replicate her original success. But then, very few people can.

Maybe I'll just skip the non-Jane Krakowski parts!

I don't remember that one at all, but since i plan to rewatch Ally McBeal at some point I'm looking forward to reliving the kind of harsh in hindsight behaviour of 90s TV characters. See also: Rachel Green.

I get the feeling they were trying to do a 'subverting by not subverting' thing. I'm okay with it since they play him as being totally in the wrong and not at all what being bisexual is supposed to mean.

It had something to do with a reporter reading questions off his phone (although I don't think that she realised that was why he was looking at his phone at the time). It'd be on YouTube.

It's a visually arresting episode too. The camera work and lighting in the hospital scenes are gorgeous and feel completely different from the actual show.

It'd be kind of interesting to see an AVQ&A about movies that are better than the book.

She made a joke that didn't quite hit the good natured rib stuff she usually does. For that the internet has decided she's stuck up and rude. Humans with access to computers can be just awful.

Personal preference, Keaton is my favourite Batman but on looks alone i'd say Kilmer is the most attractive. Pfieffer on her own is more attractive than Kilmer and Kidman combined though.

The fact that i immediately believe that Gad is going to be in a thing called Fat Dads indicates where my opinion of his film/tv career is at.

Disagree about 'better', but i agree about fun. They're great movies to turn your brain off to, and they're so gloriously campy. And you can't tell me that Kilmer/Kidman aren't the best looking a Batman/whoever couple has ever looked.
