I think she could do it given the right material, but I don't think Doubt could give it to her. I mean if Heigl showed an interest in it then it's probably crap.

Say what you will about Singer's Superman Returns, but at least he actually saved people.

I think they can make a good FF movie as long as they a) reboot the whole thing, b) let it be fun and c) introduce them in another, established franchise, similar to how Spidey was introduced to the MCU via Civil War.

The only thing that elevates Scarlet to the annals of 'strong female character' is Vivien Leigh's performance.

I can take cynical superhero movies (the fact that i like his Watchmen as much as i do attests to this), but that cynicism can't be unearned and it absolutely cannot be applied to every superhero. I've said it once and i'll say it again: television is doing DC better than the movies.

Fucking hell.

I wish that we had a Dollhouse that was led by Acker, Enver or Lachman. I can't even describe how much better the show would have been in those first few episodes.

I'm a Whedon fan but the man's writing isn't perfect. I like Dollhouse more than most (even if it is just for the aesthetics and the fact that it gave us Enver Gjokaj), but the show had a ton of problems. Dushku just wasn't cutting it as the lead until the last quarter of the show (and that's being generous) and Paul,

I disagree about Bridesmaids, but yeah… Topical humour ages like bread. 30 Rock's political jokes have aged terribly and it hasn't even been that long since it went off the air. I think a show should engage with the themes of the time its produced in, but to comment on an exact news story kills it in the long run.

Serenity caps the show off nicely and I like it a lot. I see no reason for there to be another season of the show. It's enough that there are comics (with decent acclaim i believe).

I don't care who knows: I loved Nadine. She was a hoot.
James though? I hate him and his kicked puppy face.

I'm a big Twin Peaks fan, but even as someone who recommends it with the highest praise, I know that it isn't for everyone.

Bebop is one of the few anime shows that I prefer dubbed, the voice acting is excellent.

I gave this exact opinion to a friend (who had recently finished the show after i got him into it) and he sort of started at me dumbfounded and said: "THIS show would never have done that". I think Firefly was the exact kind of show that would do that. Also, people seem to forget that "Heart of Gold" was pretty much a

The movie is visually spectacular with some of my favourite costumes from that period of Hollywood. But, it was only worth it for Carol Burnett parody that would come later.

GoT is a show i should like, I mean i've seen a lot of these actors in other things and loved them in them. But I just can't get interested in GoT. I see it's brilliance from a technical standpoint, but I just can't seem to care what happens in it.

I have so many examples, but from this list it's The Dark Knight I can especially relate to the most. I think Ledger was a great Joker (is he my favourite? Well, Mark Hamill exists so no), but Bale gives a paycheck performance in it and the plot really isn't all that interesting. What carries it is that Nolan,

I thought the character/actor was improving, but he has zero chemistry with Kara.

I kinda want to see that

The action in the show improves over the course of season, but it really is Benoist who anchors everything. They struck gold when they cast her.
