The styling is definitely better than most. Indisputably better than anything Toyota’s churning out right now. I wouldn’t kick it out of the garage, but other designers are still doing it better. Volvo and Porsche spring to mind.

I’m glad I’m not the only one using an iPhone SE.
Water the lawn, maybe spray some sticky pesticides, lay some fertilizer, pressure wash the curb...the possibilities are endless. It’s tough work being a homeowner you know!
I’d do it every day till they back off.
Scientology scares the shit out of me
It’s amazing and a little terrifying that they walk among us. I guess we’re all entitled to our “thing”.
Sounds about as reasonable as anything I heard from her.
True! That’s a true wild card right there.
I knew a lady that was into some flavor of the same new age crap. Members were encouraged to do things set out tall aluminum or copper poles (as tall as possible) during electrical storms and do something like wrap them in magnesium strips. This same woman would make little soap bar sized resin blocks filled with…
Yeah, I’ve been there done that too, for sure. Worked in friend’s driveways, worked in the dirt, rain, cold (not like that though, holy hell! I don’t blame you, superchargers can’t just sit in boxes). Our new place has a 2-car unheated garage which is a slice of paradise. My first requirement was the garage, too, when…
One of the lessons I was taught years ago was never do business with desperate people. I think that’s what’s rubbing me the wrong way about this idea. AirBnb doesn’t have to worry about people freaking out because they don’t have a home to go to at the end of their stay. They don’t have people renting a place because…
It’s still way less than a shop, and that’s why it could work. $40 to rent out a space for two hours to swap your brakes and rotors, or $200 to have a shop do it? $200 for a 10 hour slot is a downright bargain when the alternative is a shop bill of $1000+.
I think it’s a great idea, there’s just waaay too many holes in it right now. Once I can be reasonably protected from said ass-clowns, I’d consider it.
Or worse yet, what happens if it’s your jacks that fail that result in the dude dying or losing his legs? Maybe he put them in a bad place, maybe they were low quality.
Your only real mistake was getting the loan from BofA.
You’re preaching to the wrong crowd, brother :-P
The Volvo XC90 sold unchanged minus minor trim changes, options, and engines from 2002-2014 and still sells in China. The nice thing is most of stayed the same so it’s possible to transplant things like taillights from a 2014 into a 2004.
I think the most common engine in them was the generally underwhelming 3.2, but the V8 was also really common. The 2.5T is probably next in line, with the T6 coming in last (and diesels in Europe, of course). They changed the available engines over the years. The V8 was definitely the most well rounded of the bunch.…
I’ve been here about 5 years but I haven’t found any gearhead buddies yet. Between family and car and house projects I don’t get out to car shows or meetups much, but I think I’m going to start making more of an effort.
All of this discussion has convinced me that I should go car-spotting in a yard this weekend.
