If I was a woman I’d be all over this. I like the idea and wish there was a way to extend it to men as well. I dunno, a cell phone case maybe, that matches the color of you car and has matching wood, brushed aluminum, or carbon fiber trim, matching leather...

I’m loving the Creepy Jeepies. It’s going on my list of terms to use in a conversation at some point.

Baking soda in water also serves as a terrific antacid!

Maybe one day they’ll name one after him

Actually that’s the exact reason I’ve never used the baking soda/water trick to clean up the terminals...what happens when the water touches both contacts, or when it drips down to the frame while you’re doing the positive side?? Then again, dude in the video dumps a bottle of water over the battery at the end and

Cars 2 feels like Pixar’s attempt to make a fun, silly James Bond movie for kids

Which is a terrific name until you need to use it in a Google search

Quilted leather gives me warm feelings. It’s completely irrational, but it just looks like it’d be terrific to touch.

I’m trying to!!

Yeah but nobody would turn down a ride in either of them ;-)

The car buying advice everyone’s looking for is in the comments!

Dunno about better, but that Buick is the reason I uttered the words “I want that Buick” for the first time. Were I in the market for a new car, it’d be at the top of my list.

Just earlier today I was griping about how when the bi-xenon motor in my headlights goes out I’m going to have to drop stupid money on new headlights instead of the $5 motor. You really should be able to buy headlight components instead of the whole tamale.

If the car had been anything other than Japanese this wouldn’t have ended well.

Yeah I was pretty skeptical of the Chinese acquisition, but they’ve been hitting all the right notes.

Oh nice, I like that. Thanks!

I do have some experience with wetsanding and buffing and such, but what do you mean by a good automotive clear? Is it as simple as using a spray-on clearcoat, or is there a special product that should be used?

Good to know, thanks! Sylvania was actually the kit I was considering the other day.

Yeah I’ve tried those and they don’t do much. I was actually thinking of this kit which I was considering buying. Maybe I’ll give it a go and see how garage life treats them. Once every 2 years or so wouldn’t be a big deal, but 6 months is a bit much.
