so the Doctor supposedly doesn’t remember his previous self after he/she regenerates.

The Doctor’s memory/ability to think clearly is usually fuzzy immediately after regeneration because every single cell in his/her body is ripped apart and reformed, including his/her brain cells. So for a little while afterwards, the Doctor may forget things (including his/her backstory) until the regeneration energy

It felt like the main issue was too much expository dialogue. If the Doctor hadn’t stopped to pontificate/explain everything, the pacing might have been a bit better (particularly egregious was the antimatter scene - it was already established they were running out of time, but she stopped to give a physics lecture).

There’s a lot of confusion immediately after the regeneration as the mind and body readjust - hence the Doctor not remembering who she was in The Woman Who Fell To Earth (and a little bit in Ghost Monument). That’s always been a feature post-regeneration. Now she can remember the whole thing (otherwise, for example,

That is not something I have ever heard mentioned.

...the doctor does not lose his or her memories when they regenerate, no.

So we’re definitely finding out there actually is a great human hero named Avacado Pear some time between now and the 67th century, right?

I feel like Graham and Ryan work really well together (surely Ryan could have given Graham the fist bump) and the Doctor and Yaz work well together (they had some little physical comedy with each other while waiting for the Pting to find the bomb that was endearing).

Which the other three panelists were more than happy to simply nod along to and agree with, unfortunately.

There was nothing quite as interesting/infuriating as watching four fully grown white people whine about what color the fictional character of Santa Claus is. Also, that same segment is where her famous “Just because something makes you uncomfortable, doesn’t mean it has to change” line came from, which Jon Stewart

No one could’ve foreseen that hiring a well-known racist would’ve caused so much headache!

re: Helen’s gossip - my take (especially given she had stopped drinking) was that she was putting her foot into politics, in the way that housewives of powerful people can do. Put around ideas, change minds, on the issue that mattered to her (eugenics).

Yeah, at one point early on, wasn’t Saul afraid that Lalo had sent Walter to kill him?

I’m always curious how misconceptions and mondegreens like yours happen. It’s “blindsided,” meaning being hit from an unexpected direction, not “blind-sighted.” I hope this helped!

I was legit impressed at him memorizing that song. That had to take some work.

The fact that none of the streamers in this video goes off on a racist/homophobic rant kind of ruins the illusion.

My fave idea for a reality show is a cross between big brother and the mole.

I get reasonably furious at people who think Walt’s wife is the bad guy on that show. She’s being fucking REASONABLE

At some point in the near future the cost of digitally pasting his face onto footage of another actor will fall below the cost of actually having him on set, and we'll finally have Steven Seagal movies that are 100% Seagal-free.
