FYI Paul McCartney did not get paid for his collaboration.

Marty isn’t afraid of anything.

I share your opinion.

They fired/let go/showed the door to the souls of this game, writers and composer. This game is just a pretty grind to the ultimate loot, they’ll make money for sure, but the soul is gone.

Something that doesn’t really matter, lmao.

E.S. Posthumus, Audiomachine, good epic tracks to fit anywhere. Sad.

Marty had integrity, he didn’t go for the mighty $. Bungie did, it shows.

Bungie used to be a partnership, a collaboration between extremely talented people.
Activision killed that, Bungie is just another game factory.

I would pay good money for that! I really, really, really want to hear it.

I disagree with most of what you said. I listen to an occasional epic track from E.S. Posthumus or audiomachine, but you can really swap any of those and they will work overall, anywhere.
Marty’s music has soul, he plays the games he scores, his story is stronger than the narrative. Not by words alone...

Yes. A hard thing to do. Integrity, lol, a dying breed.

There was a lot of valid reasons to disagree. Activision murdered Destiny overall. It’s a long bland and boring grind of a game. The folks who make a game unforgettable were stepped on, forgotten, and discarded, the writers and the sound director. Zero emotional attachment for me, other than the music, the only reason

I’m an artist, when people mess with your work, something snaps. Totally understand Marty’s reaction, years of work at stake. Doesn’t matter, Destiny doesn’t deserve his work, blandest story and characters I’ve ever encountered. Epic music from studios that produce just that will work fine.

Same here, left me with bitter taste in my mouth, I think about about it everytime I play Destiny, how much I love marty’s music more than anything else in the game. Don’t play Destiny much, listen to the soundtrack often :)
