Word on the non-emergency number. I program that shit into my phone whenever I move.
I always like to be holding my phone (usually in my pocket), or at least have easy access to it (not in the bottom of my purse). Just in case.
Yes! I had complex partial seizures! I had a few mal-type seizures (never on EEG, but that type of presentation) and eventually grew out of them, but that is what type they were. Usually when I try to explain to people, they just stare at me.
The words were actually part of the aura I usually had, so they really didn't trigger it, but it felt that way (especially to childhood/teenage me). I always felt like if I could keep from hearing the words (we're talking actual words spoken by actual people, not a type of hallucination) I wouldn't have a seizure, but…
I used to have seizures (that I grew out of, fortunately). I was never really sure whether my seizures were triggered by a certain series of words, or made any mundane series of words seem like the triggering series (I know that doesn't make any sense, especially to someone without that type of seizures — sorry).…
That's what I thought when I saw the photo. Even just a little larger would have helped. It looks good, though.
There's a bakery I've been to that calls its cupcakes "muffins." THEY HAVE ICING. Categorically cupcakes, not muffins. Also, their "cookies" are actually flattish, iced cakes. Delicious, but you require a fork to eat them. Not cookies.
Helloooo, runs.
Yeah, I drink caffeinated coffee usually, but I do frequently order decaf because I'm pretty sensitive after a certain amount/time of the day. So I order decaf not because I'm pretentious, but because I prefer to sleep at night. It's actually a pretty fine line for me sometimes.
Don't you know, the body has ways of shutting that down. You know, if it's real space sex. I don't think you have to worry.
If you were a construction worker, it seems like you wouldn't need to work out!
"Yeah, probably about 32,ooo a year."
Informed voting is honorable!
I know. I won't actually buy Friskies for my cats, because it's full of crap, but I'll watch and enjoy the ads. Good on them.
I was going to say that maybe they were differentiating "having pimples sometimes" from acne as a chronic medical condition, but then I read the wording in the original article with the 1 in 5 and 80% you're talking about, and I really don't know. It doesn't seem like they could have left out a "not" somewhere.
Yeah, that's a real possibility. My mom's family is "from" Florida and Alabama (at least a few generations) and they're all in Florida now. When I complain about the way people with FL plates drive, they tell me "it's the yankees that move down here." That may be, I tell them, but how can they be sure? (I've seen the…
Yeah, at least in most municipalities.
My Florida family insists that North Carolina (/anything north of Georgia?) is yankee territory. And "yankee" is a dirty word.
In North Carolina, too.
