Yup. There’s a reason why the phrase “May you live in interesting times” is a curse.

Hell yeah! Another way to look at it is: “Boring” sounds really damn amazing after 4 years of Trump “excitement”. I’m exhausted by the excitement and want the soothing boringness of the old white guy who has a decent heart but sometimes says dumb shit. Who hasn’t sometimes said dumb shit, really?

‘Sike’ has been around for a while now tho.

“Biden’s so boring” is this year’s “Girl, I guess I’m with her.” Both phrases will keep people from voting. For every article that you write about Biden being dull, you get a free MAGA hat!

I think the difference is that none of those people are crazy like Trump is crazy. Those people are not acting irrationally, they are rational actors who believe that the ends justify the means, and that their ends are noble and just.

Not to mention Erdogan, Xi Jingping and Putin used a weakened global coalition due to Trump to jam through elimination of term limits that allowed them all to become dictators. And then there’s Netanyahu...

I agree. Trump has done many bad things, but popularizing the idea of dismissing anything critical as “fake news” will be his most lasting, global impact...a terrible one.

He’s the guy that when the cops finally come to arrest him everyone’s like ‘Yup’.

The thing I hate most about Trump fluctuates from day to day, but introducing the phrase fake news to the lexicon is always near the top spot. I have coworkers that call incorrect uber eats orders fake news and its beyond annoying

Trump is not a crazy uncle. The crazy uncle is fun because he’s harmless and goes home after he runs out of beer.

The poor are crazy, the rich just eccentric.

My friend’s mom died of a GBM a few years ago. The cancer was so unexpected... she was also having weird seizures / blackouts and hadn’t been able to get in to see a doctor for months that summer. No diagnosis until December... and she was gone by May. It was absolutely horrible for their entire family. Cancer can go

As opposed to Jennifer Anniston being his biological mother?  Probably a safe bet.

That’s an amazing way to see things.

The pups name is Lord Chesterfield, and it is a glorious name.

My sweet, late husband died from it at age 42. Somehow he was spared the worst, it seems....he was himself until the end, and went quickly once the chemo stopped working after a year and 8 or so months. We took a vacation three weeks before he died (albeit a somewhat challenging one due to his paralysis and speech

“I take his phone away from him,” Hardwick told OK!, “because otherwise he will sit there and Google things and then end up in a hole.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve been an oncologist for nearly 20 years, and there is no cancer that frightens me more than GBM. They are relentlessly and universally horrible.

I’m so sorry for your loss, and especially to such a terrible malady. A friend died from a glioblastoma a few years ago. He was in his early 30s, recently married, and had two children under age five. It’s truly breathtaking how fast and relentless this illness is.

I’m not familiar with Parker or The Wanted, but my dad died from a glioblastoma. They are in for some terrible times. I wish him and his wife strength and comfort.
