How do they regulate this sort of thing though? Do they have a panel of people screening ads who will have to decide that the man attempting a task was indeed “simple” or could it be deemed moderately complicated? Is a group of people making a mess with only a mom cleaning it up OK, as they aren’t family members?  

That is my thoughts as well. I absolutely do not get horny when my husband cleans. He lives in the same damn house I do and it is his job as much as mine.

It is true in the Jello ad that she might possibly be a single mom, but does doing the dishes have to be brought up every time we see women and chores? How many times does that happen in commercials aimed at men? Same for the Bounty ad. Fuck the damn dishes.
