All the antiwork/anti-capitalist rhetoric these days shuns such behavior but a largely ignored truth is that merit-based rewards still do exist out there for those willing to do the grind.

you should. what kind of idiot would kill themselves to help the richest man in the world get more money. if you die any job will replace you within a week. dont go above and beyond for them.
I wouldn’t criticize Crawford for her choice overextend herself for her job.
That makes quite a bit of sense since she was the first to start asking. My parents never did sleepovers so they didn’t understand the point of them.
I mean in terms of metrics that matter on Twitter, she bodied him pretty good. Her quote tweet has over 1 million likes and 200k retweets compared to 130k likes and 9k retweets.
What’s childish is trying to provoke a 19 year old climate activist with “LOOK AT MY CARS”. Anyway, her response doesn’t have to be clever or high art, he’s got incredible amounts of tiny dick energy and pointing it out is the appropriate response every time. He’s not worth the effort and craftsmanship of a truly sick…
ok Andrew
“How dare you!?” Ha, wonder what he actually tweeted... wait, that’s what he ACTUALLY tweeted? My day is officially made. Also, this:
When I was growing up, my sister and I weren’t allowed to go to slumber parties. A few years ago, I asked my mother why, and here’s what she (a mandatory court reporter) said:
He created a self-mythology for himself as a super genius innovator who invented electric cars and was engineering new ways to get to space.
Simple: he didn’t exist. It was always a made-up PR persona.
Yeah, this is the thing. Musk literally bought the title of founder. As in, his sales agreements with the companies legitimately spelled out that he would be entitled to call himself founder and the actual founders would not be able to call themselves founders.
Give it another two months and the “he created SpaceX and Tesla” folks will be telling us how he coded Twitter from scratch.
Say what you want about Elon, I think he’s a brilliant engineer.

Except that’s entirely untrue.
Small caveat that they appear to be only removing him from the one’s that have yet to be released, not all past videos on their channel.
you can be fired for tons of shit that isn’t a crime. having an undisclosed relationship with somebody over whom you have managerial or other types of work authority is almost always one of them.
What a fucking weird take on this. Having been on Youtube “quite a while” (grats?) and being unfamiliar with a popular channel isn’t exactly something that needed a comment taped to the side of a put down.
The “I am my own boss” part is crucial, though.
