Jeep Wrangler. It’s a body-on-frame 4x4 with solid axles front and rear and a longitudinal-mount engine and transmission. The engine tech is most definitely 21st-century but the rest of it is as classic as they come.

This is why I love living in Arizona. I can buy any used car here and not even have to check for rust. I have a 2001 540ia and a 2003 540i6 that I bought here, and neither one has even a speck of rust. Just some easy to clean dust.

This is what I did many years ago. My heart is now filled with joy everytime I get underneath my 10 year old car in So Cal and wipe the road dust off the suspension bolts to reveal gleaming silver and black finishes. From a car lover’s point of view, fuck the rust belt.
