Is that true?
Is that true?
Politically correct nutcases called Steve Martin a sexist after he tweeted calling Fisher beautiful. That is insane. I hope those type of people are on 2016 and 2017's death list.
Radiohead's Daydreaming is a masterpiece and one of their best ever. Especially in light of Yorke's ex and mother of his kids dying of cancer last week. The song just takes on a elevated meaning.
I think its because his portrayal is so different from what is actually known about Escobar's personality in real life.
That is a real thing? I watched the trailer months ago and figured it was a spoof or satire documentary on "tickling underground".
If the show was one season then it would be open to interpretation, but Marling planned 3 seasons with OA so I am sure they have a conclusive ending in mind.
If you have seen their other work Sound of my voice, it deals with a cult leader and whether or not she is telling the truth. Its left ambiguous in its ending. They have a track record of open ended conclusions where the viewer decides. Which is worse then M. Night. At least he takes a definitivr stance on his twists.
I believe she is totally genuine and not doing it for duplicitous reasons, but there is a reason why she was heavily medicated prior to her disappearance. Her off her meds for 7 years spirals into delusions. If anyone has ever spoken to a sschizophrenic they totally believe their delusions and some can be totally…
I thought self cutting initially, but there was the scene where she was sleep walking and talking and she has a knife she picks up. Maybe she was hoarding sharp objects through her sleep walking trances. That is a aspect that was never explained but has to have a significant point to it. The back mutilation has to be…
Batmanglij: "Brit and I figured out the whole thing. The whole thing’s a riddle. There are a lot of clues. Very few people have really picked up on all the clues. Our sound engineer picked up on a major one that kind of blew my mind. I was like, “That is designed for only the closest, creepiest viewer to find.”
She is making it all up. For example, when she and her parents are in the restaurant a strsnger takes OA picture and says she is brave for surviving her rape and imprisonment. Up until that point there was nothing shown or told that alluded to a rape. My point is that this could be the simple reality. She was abused…
Just major league acting from Macy. He can sell pain, regret, sadness, hope and joy all through his eyes. I am glad they remind you how good he is in this episode. Sometimes I forget when he is in his usual zany Frank mode. Not this time.
Calling for the killing of people because of who they voted for is extreme.
I read that as Michael Shannon. Would make sense with his extreme left wing views.
Bookem Woodbine gave a career defining performance.
I was just watching that scene an hour ago. "He'll wish all they find is more cancer" was the killshot line. Definitely Dreyfus's best scene of the season.
Not once do I believe she is acting. Freaking seamless performance.
Logan Marshall Green is wonderful and Peter Mullan is perfectly cast. Highly underrated show, but it is on Cinemax and has the same producers as Banshee so it'll have the same fate of being overlooked.
I'll throw a nomination at The Kingdom. Frank Grillo and Jonathan Tucker are great. Grillo feels so authentic like a guy you would really know in your regular gym or MMA gym. Tucker is a unbelievably great and nuanced actor. The type of actor who keeps you riveted to every word delivered and scene he is in.
The one episode where they actually focused on the artists making music was their only glimmer of hope. Then they promptly shit all over it with the murder mob investigation and Sixth Sense episode.
