Yes you are correct. That applied more so to Rust, but the only character that has had slightly esoteric dialogue was Vaughn. The peripheral characters have had more strange dialogue. I can't recall anything truly odd coming from the other three.

True Detective only works by the actors being good enough to sell the esoteric dialogue.
Jesus he probably was better in John Carter then here. Hell, this is the third time he has played a soldier of some sort. Savage he was doing the same brooding thing and Lone Survivor he was okay in. I guess I just have to trust that Pizzolatto knows what he is doing.
Kitsch was never a good actor and there were tons of people complaining when he was cast. I see why. He is the weak link. The story screeches to a halt when he is on screen by himself. I wish it was Farre ll and McAdams as the only police.
SPOILER
It is time for Sembene centric episode. Just Sembene and maybe Malcolm.
All valid points. Will is indeed mentally unstable and damaged and the way Hannibal got into his head and rewired it made for a twisted connection.
You know Pope demanded unlimited storage of ice cream flavors as payment before the first kidnapping. Pilcher had a entire separate warehouse and 13 volunteers just to appease Pope's rum raisin addiction.
Yea I guess, but you would think he would have revenge on his mind not only for Hannibal carving him up but killing Abigail as well. He did get very close to Hannibal unlike anyone else (exception Bloom), but surely he would know that Hannibal wants to eat him.
I don't understand Will this season. He seems to be more of an acolyte to Hannibal then last season where he matched him in a cat and mouse game. The whole "I wanted to run away with him" approach seems very odd. Meanwhile the only people who have the correct vengenace focus are Chilton, Verger and Bloom and Jack.…
He has a huge role and since the actor is part of the main cast we will see him this season. I can't wait till they get to his part.
Trust me, here and other sites let's just say lower aptitude people still ask variations on time travel even after seeing this episode. How some people don't get the linear storyline is astounding.
Best middle ground would be let all who wanted to go out of Wayward Pines the freedom to go. But put cameras on them and broadcast the view to the rest who stayed and let what happens decide for everyone what direction they want to take.
So can we all stop the "time travel" questions from now on? I couldn't take one more Sheriff Pope and Pilcher time travel plot hole accusation.
Fair enough, but Arby (RB) and Jessica were so messed up, rewired, psychotic and damaged that the performances were off kilter and weird enough to work. Maybe the HBO version will be better for you.
Perfect definition of her performance. Alien. She was so foreign and detached when she showed up that it automatically pulled you into the storyline. It made the subsequent "Where is Jessica Hyde" question deadly serious. She never disappointed in her performance.
Meant to say channel 4.
Yeah she has to play Hyde. The question is who gets to be RB? Its going to be hard to top Neil Maskell performance. Utopia is a show I was literally enraged at how it got screwed by Channel 4. It deserved to be completed.
Ha! Yea her reaction was great. Like she never got booted out like that before.
Well that would have lessened the impact of the scene. They showed you all you needed to know in that sequence.
