@TheFreshAddict: I'm using it for writing magazine copy, and checking photos on the move. I have dragged a laptop and the a little Eepc around in the past, experimentally, but they're just not convenient if you have to handle a big pro Canon with heavy lenses as well.

You have to read magazines with two hands, unless you mean a Jehovah's Witness skinny leaflet mag. Also most books I seem to read are not comfortable to read with one hand.
