Yeah, they’ve moved their entry level MSRP from about $14k to $20k.

Here are my 3 thoughts:
It’s really hard to build brand loyalty when you make the step that Ford has now. You’re essentially taking out the “Ford Performance” segment (minus the Mustang....but not really an entry point for performance). The idea is: You’re out of college and buy a new Fiesta...you enjoy it, meet a girl, get married/dual…
1) 2014s are worth way more than $1,500
Its not selfish when our tax money pays to bail out said company for a few years.
For fud-it money, sure, why the hell not? I’ve spent more on worse decisions, never learned any useful lessons other than sometimes I’m an idiot.
don’t worry, mexico will pay for it.
Meh, just buy it on credit. 84 months baby!
I just don’t get it. It’s not like Dodge, where they threw away a tiny amount of sales. Ford sold roughly 1/2 million Fiesta/Focus/Fusion/Taurii last year. Granted that equals about half of the F series sales.
I’d buy one!
We don’t appreciate your common sense and logical thinking around here. Now excuse me while I go make a post why a brown diesel manual wagon shooting brake Miata will be the savior that automakers need.
Great plan until gas prices (inevitably) spike again.
Agreed, people who bought Fiestas or Focuses will go somewhere else now, not buy an suv they don’t need. If they have a good experience at Kia/Mazda/Toyota etc. you’re losing customers for life
Ford just lost one of their own employees as a customer. That takes real effort.
So my next FoST is going to be a GTI.
GAS WILL BE CHEAP FOREVER!!!!!
I’ll say it. I think this is a terrible idea.
What’s with the overstock hate?!! Second article dissing them! Great selection and prices for home furniture and decor.
