I think he just means it’s easier when using large numbers. Easy because you don’t have to concern yourself with carrying all the 1s and 2s and 4s and whatnot. We’re taught math in school here the same way you were, though.

You have no idea how long it took to type in the comment using Kinja on my phone..

Run, it’s the Math Police! :0)

Exactly. “It’s a fine line between clever and stupid”, according to one of my favorite movies. Reminds me of the time in graduate school (for psychology, mind you) that one of my professors took 45mins explaining the new ‘Common Core’-style division that didn’t make a fucking lick of sense. We were all fairly

The point of this video is actually to describe the method of complements, but they don’t do a very good job of describing it. And in base-10 you’re right, it really doesn’t make things any easier. But in base-2 (binary), it’s *much* faster and more direct than trying to do the equivalent of long-subtraction, since

start on the left

Because A3 = AWD version of the GTI... and S3 = Golf R...

I know this is sloped for aero, but couldn’t they get decent aerodynamic performance out of a proper Kamm back? It would be approximately eleventy-million times more useful and attractive. This just looks like an confused blob inspired by some of my least favorite designs on the road: Honda Crosstour, Acura ZDX, BMW

A million times this. Not only am I convinced this is the best sports cars in this price range, I would make a case that it's one of the best sports cars ever made. You can hop out of a Ferrari and still have a smile on your face in the S2000. It's amazing.

IMO these days your best bang for the buck is a Honda S2000. For instance quick search finds a 2001 with 76k miles for under $13k

This super-clean 2008 Cayman. 38k miles, 5-speed manual, great colour combo, 2 owners and recent tires. And it’s only $27,500.

Six? There’s only 3. The new ones haven’t come out yet.

Nah it’s no big deal, I was mostly amused by the fact that most people on this comment section missed Ken’s intent with that article, poor him XD

A while back some moron tossed a crucifix in a jar of his own urine and called it “art.” The same peanut gallery which spent more time condemning the people at Charlie Hebdo for asking for it than they did the terrorists who committed the actual crime fawned over that “art” as if someone had dug up an original

I was basically saying that the vast majority of cars, at least where I am, are white, silver, gray or black, and everything in-between.

Re: the fake allergies

In high school I used to work at a Pizza place...lets call it padre juanitos. We had a special customer who always ordered a very special pizza every Friday: One extra large pizza (made with a large pizza dough ball) so it was thinner..more likely because they wanted extra large pizza for the price of a large. One

Carbon gray is stunning, and just comes alive after a proper seal and wax. Changes its color based on the surrounding lighting too. Sometimes its gray, sometimes greenish, and other times bluish.

All the yeses in the world. My fellow grays and I are getting very annoyed.

Good point. What keeps people coming back to these sites? The comments. And if people keep commenting and never get out of the grey they will eventually leave and go somewhere with moderation that does not grey people out.
