Thanks to agrajag (sorry if I butchered it) I was inspired to make a walking stick for my wife. We chopped off a maple branch in the front yard that was hanging over the house, and one chunk of it ended up as a walking stick and a little billy club.
Yesterday, I found a guy that used old slide cabinets from Boulder Community Hospital, and he converted them into end tables. Color is really going to pop in our new mostly gray house and I bought a pair.
I’m tempted to go full redneck AC with a fan, bucket and some PVC pipping. For now, this will suffice - bowl of ice and a fan. Bruno approves
This has been driving me insane. Noise starts at 17 seconds or so, you can really hear it 17-25, and then on and off after that as I am driving around the block.
A while ago, I got a free topper on craigslist for my 2000 Tundra. It was perfect for our needs - just an enclosure for the dogs when we got to the dog park.
I had my dealership replace my oil in their express lube department. They apparently checked my brakes as well, and my front pads are at 4mm, and my rear pads are at 1mm!
This baby is parked in my neighborhood. It seems they added a snorkel recently as well. I think half of oppo would love this in their driveway
Is this the most expensive Tacoma with 115k miles on it, ever??
On Friday, I’ll arrive to LA around 9pm. My hotel is at the intersection of i405 and i90 . I’ll probably have a late dinner and go to bed.
Oppo, have you ever applied one of these to your garage floor, and what worked better?
Best $15 I’ve spent. Fits the Tundra perfectly, and because I don’t drive it often, it always ices over. My heater only works when the truck is not idling, so getting rid of ice is a huge pain the in the rear.
Well, it is happening - we’re buying a way too expensive of a house, and on top of it, we’re keeping our current house as a rental. So, when our leases are up in April of 2020, we will probably just give them back, and not get another “new” car.
Wife lost count at 17 cars on Peña boulevard.
My new obsession
“But since that number is meaningless to all but the wonkiest of wonks, here’s how it looks with a bunch of cold-weather gear from me and Car and Driver’s Daniel Golson in it“
Wife just picked it up, after 2 weeks or so. It started with Check engine light, code P0016, Crankshaft Position Sensor.
I am not a serious sneaker head, but when I saw these at the mall today, I had to have them. I couldn’t have them when I was young, back in 1997 - I made $50 per month and these were $100+ , but when I saw them for $95 at the store, I couldn’t say no.
He’s almost 11 and he’s as cute as a puppy
