I’ve said that exact thing about comic books and get ‘But these aren’t comic books they’re movies!’ in response...like yeah, movies based on comic books, and this is how comic books work.  It’s not like this is new, people have done this kind of thing since they were inventing gods to explain why the sun comes up.

Season 3 was damn fine too.

Man such mixed opinions on S4.  I thought it was the best since season one and most people I know who watched it really liked it, but there’s a strong online hate for it.

My question was kinda rhetorical I’ve been in or adjacent to the business since the ‘90s. Oddly enough, newspapers were getting crappier before the internet started actually being a news source and long before social media was a thing.

Yep that didn’t help. 

Honestly, the industry was in decline before that happened, tech only made the decline faster.

Honestly I think the industry was going downhill before that.  I stopped reading the New York Times in like ‘99 or ‘00 because the quality was dropping rapidly and that was before all the 9/11 and Iraq bullshit.

But newspapers were worth loads of money 40 years ago, why did things change?!
