It’s sad to see that the Milwaukee Bucks released a statement completely supporting their player on the same day that the NFL owners released a dumb new institutionalized policy that tells their players they have to support the police-sanctioned abuse and murders of black Americans

In a related story, the NFL has just passed a rule saying that all of their players must agree to be tased for any reason or face fines.

If I was a community leader my fear (and the reason I might cooperate) would be that the cops are going to be scared when people get angry, and scared cops kill people of color.

I’d like to suggest a protest in a financial district instead. Shut down the thing the police are truly there to “protect and serve.”
