The thing is, they've ALREADY made the biggest contribution to VR gaming with the original devkit.
Two other actual gaming companies are already working on competing products.
Oculus could completely disappear, and we'd still have Project Morpheus, Valve's whatever-it-is, and castAR.
Oculus brought VR back with a

Well, it's not first party, but WaterMelon (the Pier Solar team) is working on an SNES game right now.

Yeah. I almost considered buying a Vita just for that.

They're great. Get 2017 and 2025 at least.
If you happen to have a modded/softmodded PS2, and can manage to burn a bootable disc or have the HDD attachment, grab Global Defense Force and Monster attack as well - they're the first 2 games in the series, and the gameplay is about the same.
You even get the Wing Diver in

These are the games my girlfriend and I have spent the most time playing. I bought IA and this one on release date, that's how much we love them.

They are.
Some buildings take more hits to demolish than others now. You're not taking out a high-rise with a single rocket hit anymore, it takes 2 or 3 at least.

IIRC Colonial Marines was largely developed by Timegate Studios. Gearbox got it back at the end and had an incredibly short time in which they realized just how fucked up it was, and tried to to the best they could with it.

Panzer Dragoon Saga on the Sega Saturn made for a far better Pern game.

Something that's really not conveyed so easily is the feeling of speed.
That truck was moving *fast*. Depending on the center of gravity, a nice flip like that is totally plausible.

Red Planet was the racing game you remember. It's been MIA for several years, but has recently been redeveloped to work with the last generation pod hardware.
I occasionally work with these pods at comic/anime/gaming conventions with MechCorps, and they're just as fun now as they were then.

Miranda is sure Hawkeyein' it up!

Aye, that's OVA Kenshin.
Title is "Reflection" in the US, IIRC. The Japanese name is "Seishouhen".

I had COMPLETELY forgotten about that!

This has always been my favorite Samus image:

If you watch the video, you'll see the guy take a knee as well as sit completely where appropriate (vehicle driving/piloting, etc), suspended by the harness.

Even as conservative as it is, Sif's armor *still* unrealistic boobplate. "Why yes, I'd love to guide a blade to my sternum!"
Brienne's armor in the GoT series is a good example of proper female armor.

Interesting comparison, considering my Honda Civic's rocking almost 300,000 miles, and is only just now getting its 100,000 mile maintenance done.
That's a workhorse for you.

Granted, it's not tricked out, but my comment stands.

There's your Belle.
