If your strategy relies on selling 200.000 impulse buys just to make minimum wage I’m not sure if thats such a great strategy. Especially when Steam is flooded with 5 dollar games that are either more established names or just as unknown as their game. Thats competing in a very saturated market.

Maybe you should check out what Narcissistic and Histrionic Personality Disorders actually are. If you did, you might notice that you cannot possibly diagnose someone with either of those disorders based just on how they behave when they got an audience watching.

You can forgive someone and still be angry at what they did. Those things are not mutually exclusive.

I think why it worked so well was because they turned the player from the typical first person shooter hero who singlehandedly beat the Nazis and won WW2 into just your average soldier who is in this war along with thousands of other ordinary soldiers. It completely changed the scale of everything.

Not really, as Blitzkrieg was never really a thing, let alone official German military doctrine. The definitions of Blitzkrieg as you find them today are all different and all made up after the war was over.

Yeah but that still leaves you the problem of tunnel vision, only now it are teams that have tunnel vision instead of individuals. Worse, in such a development structure, there is a risk that you essentially get a bunch of mini games that are badly glued together and don’t fit well in one game. Ubisoft open world

1) assumes that a German ground offensive on British soil would be a success and that the Germans are successful in completely cutting off British supplies. They were somewhat successful with that initially, but there is no way to be sure that this continued strategy would not be effectively countered by the British

Well, I would if I could, but I’m European and I don’t get to vote in American elections. But if it makes you feel any better, I’m a member of the Dutch green party and I think they stand for good things only.

Sure, eventually. But who knows how much damage those truly evil fuckers have done by that point.

from now on it is no voting for evil lesser or otherwise.

Well, the assumption that Germany could have beaten the SU and Britain and then launched a successful invasion into the US is by itself absurd. Germany lacked resources, its why they focused so much on high tech tanks, because they simply didn’t have the capacity to go for a lot of crappy tanks like the SU and the US

That doesn’t take away from the fact that the story ends up being one sided. It is perhaps not by choice of the television makers, but it still is.

And so the United States continues to slide towards failed state status.

The problem of a democratized justice system.

Ugh, I hate games with a never ending respawning enemies. It takes all the fun out of clearing an area if you know they will be back a few minutes later. Also, with the limited ammunition and the increasing health bar of the enemy, fights became tedious and unfair. Add to that the fact that dying had no consequence on

When you go from having limited money to suddenly seemingly unlimited money, you have to fight the impulse to just buy everything without considering your financial situation.

Yep, same here. Bioshock 1 was just to dark for the most part. And with dark I mean that I kept bumping in to walls and obstacles because the pure blackness on my screen made it hard for me to see where I was going.

How will restricting the borders help? Less people getting in is not gonna change the behavior of the people that come in. All it does is keep people out on the basis that they are all potential rapists. And as bad as this mess is, does it mean a lot of innocent law abiding people fleeing violence should be kept out

Again, all of those games that focus on generic multiplayer generally include either a single player campaign (Call of Duty) or they don’t launch at 60 dollars with a 30 dollar season pass. My point is not that multiplayer doesn’t sell, my point is that multiplayer only at 60 dollars with a season pass doesn’t sell

That calculation is deeply flawed then. 500 years when it already takes decades or more just to reach the colony? Look at how far humanity has progressed in just 500 years and our rate of technological progression is only accelerating. It is impossible to predict where we are in 500 years.
