When you have transgressed to that degree, not getting to goof around on an awards stage or in movies seems like a small price to pay.

My last Xbox was a 360, but I love Titanfall 2 so always intended on checking this out if/when I get one again. Just went to buy it in the hopes it’ll still be downloadable after storefront removal, only to find two purchase options: Get EA Play, and Not Available Separately

I’m sealing the phrase “uncanny valley” in a lead box and dropping it into the Mariana Trench, where it will land somewhere near the box containing “fourth wall”

I don’t know how anyone can look at these images without the question of cruelty even occuring to them (as it apparently didn’t to anyone involved in publishing this post).

Would he have been in contempt of court if he delivered it in “Werner Herzog voice"?

I’m tentatively excited for Elden Ring, but the idea that it represents a culmination of FromSoftware’s work to date simply because It’s Big is... my second least favourite thing about modern gaming, just behind Always Online.

The Xbox versions of Halo and Halo 2 still can’t be played on Xbox One or Series X/S consoles.

On the strength of this reveal I'd say the name is easily the best thing about it.

ah, I guess it is impossible due to licensing, legal and technical constraints

How’s about Halo

I hate it when I’m making a Real World Geopolitical Shooter and it accidentally resembles Real World Issues. At least we can rest easy that the game’s action now only resembles ethical warfare.

I also feel crazy when stuff like this is described as objective improvement. It’s absolutely valid to prefer the new graphics, but there’s no denying that they result in a significantly different aesthetic, rather than simply increased fidelity (see also: Demon’s Souls).

Every landscape shot in this comparison goes from a distinctive, deliberate aesthetic to something out of a generic city builder.

The console that owned me twice: first, when The Last Guardian never showed up, then when I sold it and lost the only way to replay Metal Gear Solid 4.

Hearing youngsters get nostalgic for The Mummy (1999) recently has thrown me for a loop. A pretty charming cast, sure, but... not good material.

Backpedalling Halo 3's Great Schism to “that was just *some* Sangheli. Hardly any, in fact" was such a boring decision.

I was crossing my fingers, but not holding my breath, for this. Nintendo gets plenty wrong, but the post-launch improvements to this collection have been great.

I found the soft pouch in the official Nintendo Switch Accessory Set (which the new Nintendo Switch OLED Carrying Case looks to be modelled after) was too tight and put pressure on the analogue sticks, and didn’t feel like it protected the system enough to carry in a backpack. I swapped that for the officially

The one thing that would be useful to know! I don't think he ever makes the direct comparison, but having looked at his original switch video I'd say it's equal. So continuing to keep keys and coins away from the screen seems like it will be sufficient.

Yeah, overall I wouldn't say the new versions are improvements.
