OOF. Sony is bonkers for Spider-Synergy. I didn’t love the game’s look or story, but I did think that between the capture performances, voice acting and animation, the characterisation was pretty spot on. This is shitty for John Bubniac.

Obligatory harping on this subject from me: if they’re new assets it’s a remake, if they’re the original assets rendered with greater fidelity it’s a remaster.

This game and its marketing will be the final nail in the coffin of games people using the terms “remake” and “remaster” correctly.
