I sincerely wish the NAACP would pull a brilliant play and embrace the NRA. Start a whole campaign about how Black Americans need to exercise their second amendment rights. Organize gun buys. Have 30 Black people show up at a gunshop and all buy handguns. Nationwide.

I grew up in rural Alaska, learned to run a chain saw before I was in high school, fished and worked alongside my brother. I will not condemn a man on rumor alone.

Here’s the simple fact: The Washington Post did journalism the right way, and Jezebel did not.

I think the difference is the military has a direct, and known goal of waging war with war-minded killers who are trained to kill and survive in hellish conditions. Psychological trauma or behavioural conditioning that doesn’t fit with normal society is often the result, and the military barely gives 2 fucks about it.

To be blunt, I don’t respect someone who would say racist stuff because they had a bad night. That goes beyond awkwardness, especially when he does it again after someone tells him to stop.
