You can also just cheese him like I did before I had the stims. Just go back to the entrance to the cave, and he won't cross the threshold. Just hit him with the over head lightsaber strikes and dodge back to safety. If you go too far though his health comes back.

Did you have to down him a few times for the fight to end? I was using the anti BT pistol after I ran out of grenades then I just punched him to death. It took about four phases? If you call them that.

I stopped in the middle of giant ghost mini boss fights because ghost Sams threw grenades and blood packs at me. I usually go very prepared for those spots, but one in particular spawned faster than I could leave. I was hoping it'd break down like that cuz it'd be lame to wait a year for another expansion to build on the story. It keeps the content mill going cuz with the first two expansions, it was easy to be done with story content and the raid content fairly quickly. 

Yeh, largely disappointed with content for that. They added a lot of other cool shit, but I feel like I'm alone in enjoying the story shit outside of doing the same thing hundreds of times to get a pretty yellow weapon.

Getting to 900 isn't that rough. Even blue drops give a significant boost. After that is when it gets a bit slower. I hit 900 just doing crucible here and there for a day or two.

It would be more like being desensitized to Jacuzzis and not really about being enthusiastic about it. You can still enjoy the occasional dip, but you wouldn’t necessarily get excited about seeing a new one as much as someone who grew up where holes and hot water weren’t the norm.
