No, it’s worse when people are home because no matter how many times you tell them not to get your attention by grabbing your shoulder, they do it and trigger a full body reaction that makes you simultaneously drop the controllers, trip over the headset cable, and spout expletives.

I like "exploration in 2nd dimension" aka "exploration".

Machicken everywhere

I wish I had a higher res picture to work with

Ayy I made runner-up

I've been using Caffeine.tv as an alternative. It seems barebones compared to other services, but it's a bit more user friendly and the folks on there are generally a lot more welcoming. I haven't been met with any toxicity so far with my time on there, and the staff for it are pretty chill people too.

Well, I said 5 - 10 to cover a broader range of playtimes. My first time through was about 10 hours on the original then less than that. I think with me, a few other friends had the game too, so we were sharing tips and junk about how to get past certain parts and where to find things, so my play initial play time

Ah, yes, the slippery slope of not saying racial slurs. You stop people from doing that and all of a sudden we're all gonna be "I have no mouth and I must say the N word"

The REmake was solid, but totally agree with the A/B. It didn't feel enough like two parts of the same story like it did in the original.

Kinda unrelated, but it weirds me out that people think paying $60 for a game that can be beat in 5 hours is a ripoff when this was the norm for phenomenal shit like the MGS and RE series. I’m kinda burnt out on the open world, “games as a service” type shit and largely prefer a solid 5 - 10 hours of something that

It was supposed to be a cute and fun put Keanu in games type contest, but I compared John Wick’s story to DooM’s, and I had to see it to the end.

I remember having a lot of fun In Disneyland playing the arcade version of the Star Wars game that was also on the Atari. It was back far enough that those graphics were considered pretty dang mind blowing. The cabinet also fed in sound bytes and chatter from the movie. I think it was just the same couple of levels

You missed another nugget:

Nah

Thank you. It was meant for Gita but I got kinja'd

A society grows great when old men do voice overs for games they’ll never enjoy

I replied to the wrong one lol sorry.

It was the work of one dude doing the localization, so I wouldn't see it necessarily as a rigid part of who he is since he's so different in the original Japanese. They could still be true to the source material if they just stick closer to how he was characterized in the Japanese version.

I was a child when ff7 came out, and I liked Barret cuz he said swears. Like a lot of things I enjoyed when I was younger, a lot of the more troublesome themes and characterizations were lost on me. I've now grown quite tired of seeing the same tropes used time and again in our entertainment, and I think it'd make for

Getting on that pharmacy two pack. I wait patiently for the black cat D. Va that has to happen.
