I did not used to have this gene. But a few years ago I had a roommate who never bought toilet paper but seemed to go through as much tp as the rest of the house combined. As someone who was a student and on disability this stressed me out to no end. I eventually started waiting for really good sales and stocking up.

I agree in theory but in practice you would need to be able to turn them off. Its not reasonable to have them running when the cop has to go to the bathroom, or even when they are on lunch (obviously if their break got interrupted the cameras should go right back on).

I once had a fairly minor surgery. When I woke up I was ragey. Super ragey and I couldn't stop it. For maybe 4 or 5 hours. I scared the nurses, I scared my parents. I scared some people at the mall (my parents stopped to pick up my prescription and I jumped out of the car). A few hours later (after a friend showed up

So badass. She has been a hero of mine since I read a few of her books when I was a teenager. The first one I read was 'Outrageous Acts and Everyday Rebellions' and I think helped change the way I think.

I used to work at a discount theatre. Lots of children and seniors. However when a teenage couple came in, especially for a horror movie, we would often mention in front of them that we had darkvison cameras in all the theatres - just to pre-empt the behaviour. We actually did have the cameras but I'm not sure if

I also not afraid of trans women in women's washrooms. I agree with you, we pee in the stalls. The most freaked out I have been in a women's washroom was in a Boston Pizza in a smallish town where a (very drunk) women grabbed me from behind and was about start trying to beat me up, because she thought I was a man in

Nope. Ontario Canada - the Toronto Suburbs. I will admit that the group of friends I had when I was younger was kind of fringe. We churned out more then our fair share of musicians, piercers and eventually professional tattoo artists.

I have lots of friends with home done tattoos. I remember one interesting night involving lots of tequila and a friends brand new tattoo gun. Luckily for me, there was a line up of morons wanting bad tattoos. Otherwise I would also be sporting one. At least I never let anyone tattoo me with a sewing needle and india

This is awesome. I want to drive up to my future (Lesbian) wedding in the back of a pick up truck shooting a shot gun. I wonder what the Ontario/Canadian laws are regarding this?

I'm going to have to disagree with you. From my experience shame is not an effective motivator for more then a few minutes. It actually ends up being more of a demotivator for weight loss - people tend to eat worse after being shamed. I don't have time to look up the relevant studies for you, although I am pretty sure

Doing Weight Watchers was the only time I ever lost any meaningful amount of weight also. But I only went to one meeting, I never went back because it reminded me of church/bible study in a very bad way (both things I have avoided since I was old enough for my mom to no longer make me go). I went to the weigh ins

1. You are completely right about looking out for yourself or ending up miserable.

On one hand I feel bad judging people because I have been previously diagnosed with a personality disorder (Avoidant Personality) and have spent years in therapy for it and other anxiety related issues. Personality disorders are very real things which can screw up the persons life badly.

I a female and I do it. However in my defense I had hip surgery as a child and can't comfortably sit any other way. I'm definately not splayed out as far as some of the guys in the pictures are though. I just feel bad because I don't like being rude and when someone sits next to me I try to move as much as possible

Damn I used to go into the cockpit all the time when I was a kid. Hell, they usually gave us a tour. And on the best flight ever when I was 10 I got to spend the entire flight in the jumpseat. That being said I spent alot of time around planes (my dad is an aircraft mechanic) and I had it drilled into me not to touch

I'm about to buy an apartment sized deep freeze. Right now I just have an older, smaller fridge/freezer combo. I started cooking in the last year, and I am a huge fan of making large batches of stuff in the crock pot but I am very limited in what I can freeze. On top of that my fiancee and I also eat alot of frozen

Yesterday my fiancee told me she knows she has lost her soul to retail. Apparently she upsold someone the new Nickleback CD (she works in one of the few stores left mostly dedicated to selling music and related items).

I've already been considering Nintendo since I'm not sure that a PS4 or XboxOne offer anything my combo of gaming PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 doesn't. The only exclusive I really wanted was Dead Rising 3. I have never had any Nintendo product before. But recently I've been thinking the games look fun and Nintendo stuff is
