This is awesome. I want to drive up to my future (Lesbian) wedding in the back of a pick up truck shooting a shot gun. I wonder what the Ontario/Canadian laws are regarding this?

Oops. Ignore my post - I just realized it is on the list after all. I guess I need to practice my reading comprehension.

The Providence of Fire by Brian Staveley - sequel to The Emperor's Blades comes out on Jan 13. I read The Emperor's Blades, Lockstep and Red Rising last year all on the same weekend. Although I very much enjoyed all three books The Emperor's Blades was my favourite and I'm planning on reading it next week so I figured

I'm going to have to disagree with you. From my experience shame is not an effective motivator for more then a few minutes. It actually ends up being more of a demotivator for weight loss - people tend to eat worse after being shamed. I don't have time to look up the relevant studies for you, although I am pretty sure

Doing Weight Watchers was the only time I ever lost any meaningful amount of weight also. But I only went to one meeting, I never went back because it reminded me of church/bible study in a very bad way (both things I have avoided since I was old enough for my mom to no longer make me go). I went to the weigh ins

I came here to post the same thing.

Obligatory:

1. You are completely right about looking out for yourself or ending up miserable.

No mention of Enid Blyton on here. Iirc, her books have been banned from more libraries then any other author.

On one hand I feel bad judging people because I have been previously diagnosed with a personality disorder (Avoidant Personality) and have spent years in therapy for it and other anxiety related issues. Personality disorders are very real things which can screw up the persons life badly.

Yeah, the next one was the one with Kelly McGillis. I actually liked part of that one but by then I was really bored with Addys breakdown and I thought Mack was acting like a moron. Additionally I was a teeny bit disappointed because besides those two gun dealers from the pilot and 'gun show' that was the first time

I a female and I do it. However in my defense I had hip surgery as a child and can't comfortably sit any other way. I'm definately not splayed out as far as some of the guys in the pictures are though. I just feel bad because I don't like being rude and when someone sits next to me I try to move as much as possible

I just wanted to add that although Z Nation is far from a perfect show it has had alot of great moments and I think it has tons of potential. I don't think it gets enough credit and I hope some of the people who stopped watching right away give it a second chance.

Damn I used to go into the cockpit all the time when I was a kid. Hell, they usually gave us a tour. And on the best flight ever when I was 10 I got to spend the entire flight in the jumpseat. That being said I spent alot of time around planes (my dad is an aircraft mechanic) and I had it drilled into me not to touch

I didn't manage to get much past this because after that I wanted him to die. But since there was a whole series of books in which he was the main character I knew it wasn't going to happen any time soon so I stopped reading it.

On one hand this was a terrible movie. On the other hand it introduced my pre-teen self to Dana Delany and for that I will forever be grateful.

I'm about to buy an apartment sized deep freeze. Right now I just have an older, smaller fridge/freezer combo. I started cooking in the last year, and I am a huge fan of making large batches of stuff in the crock pot but I am very limited in what I can freeze. On top of that my fiancee and I also eat alot of frozen

This stuff is depressing. And terrible. I also don't understand how it could go on at the same time all that "birth control and abortion are evil" crap was going on since they contradict (I realize that the birth control/ abortion things are still current issues, but the sterilization issue is relatively recent). It

Yesterday my fiancee told me she knows she has lost her soul to retail. Apparently she upsold someone the new Nickleback CD (she works in one of the few stores left mostly dedicated to selling music and related items).

I think she looks like a young version of Michelle Phifer.
