I think the bigger question is, when do kids have TIME to hang out...anywhere?! Kids I know have sports practice, homework club, chess club, music lessons, cooking lessons, f’ing ARCHERY lessons, play dates, college prep courses (she’s 9 btw)...jesus it’s exhausting to be a kid these days.

Those photos are worse than the She-E-O bullshit. It’s like they tried to make her look as if they spread semen all over her face.

I think the older folks believe that cruises are safer, fancier, and you get to “see” more countries.

We were stuck on Big Thunder Mountain in the dark once. They came and walked us off one car at a time, starting with the cars closest to the exits. It was actually cool for us. We go to DL a lot and to see things that usually go by so fast, actually stopped and get a good look at them was fun and interesting.

I have friends that love it, take multiply cruises, and post their “number” whenever they book a new one. “Just booked our 17^th cruise!” They post pics on the cruise ship and at nondescript beaches on various island countries and go home.

Dude, Stevie Nicks couldn’t lure me onto a cruise.

“by that metric most baby boomers are not adults” Yup, 100% with ya. We still have to spend Xmas with my boomer in-laws every year. We have our own kids now and yet it’s still all about my In-Laws and what they want. Drives me bat shit...But I’m taking notes on what not to do to my own kids.

I have an 11 yo and a 9 yo, neither of them like/listen to any of these songs. This old Gen Xer mom is currently writing herself a reminder to write a bigger check to their “Adopt the Arts” music class.
