I saw the trailer for this before Star Wars. We all scoffed, scoffed I say at this film.

I stopped at 'daft bint' but yeah, I'll agree with you.
There was a second page in the press release where she agonizingly explained how this wasn't a comic, but a 'graphic novel' and how since it involves gene splicing, it's technically 'speculative fiction' and not sci-fi.
At least this shit article generated an amazing response.
Was the question actually 'Can you tell us why the five books closest to you right now on this phone call are disturbing yet beautiful?'
The JMJ and Big L murders are infuriating. People know, no one is talking. It's awful.
Wow thanks for this link. This is lunacy bottled into cute 10 Minute videos. Holy shit.
That's up there as well. To make matters worse, when i saw it in the theater an old couple walked in thinking they were going to see Best in Show and it terrified the woman so much, she turned too fast, hit a seat at the edge of the aisle and broke her leg. So that final sequence? THE final sequence? Add in the…
Don't get me wrong, it isn't a knock on one second of the filming or any of the constituent parts. It just very personally destroyed me. I've never seen anything that summarizes and shows just how difficult it is to actually care. About anything.
I was there in 1995 and they had a Dirk Gently's. And yes, I got a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster.
The best film I'll never, ever rewatch. I can't think of a single one that decimated me like this. Brutal.

I dunno, I think we need to get him a craftmatic adjustable bed.
I had the honor of seeing him once in Chicago right after Monkey Barz came out. The entire BCC was there, even Starang Wondah, etc. It was one of my Top 5 shows ever and Sean P absolutely, completely fucking destroyed it. Da Shinin is one of my favorite albums ever so to see them for the first time was special, but…
I'm way late to the party, but I'll chime in anyway, since this is a strange one for me.
They toned it down in post. It sucks because you can tell that's not the original audio in some places. I thought her performance was atrocious but I'd have liked to have seen it with the original audio.
Fuckin Glen Frey? The poor man's Bob Seger?
"Slayer‘s new album, Repentless, is set to be released on September 11."
Tried 'Ballistic' by Adam Egypt Mortimer. Seemed too…schticky? for me?
Knocked out all of the issues of Lazarus that are out. Some great moments there and I love the setting but overall just kinda, eh. Picked up the first Burning Fields. Loved it but that's one that is begging for a TPB. Saw a couple of Nameless…
Good call on Blacksad, just didn't get into it.
