I’m not advocating for early adoption of the Switch. I was a day one adopter of the Gamecube, Wii, and Wii U and I’m gonna wait as long as I need to before I snag one. I’m merely pointing out that I think it’s unlikely that a bundle drops for the Switch’s first holiday season. I could be wrong, but generally…
I think you’re going to be shocked and dismayed. I can’t see Nintendo adding a new Switch UPC until next year at the earliest. I imagine there will be a lot of demand for the Switch around the holidays and Nintendo won’t need to put a bundle together to move product.
You’d have to wonder if Zelda might head in the same direction that Mario is in right now - there are 2D sidescrollers under the “New Super Mario” label and then more open-world 3D platformers like 3D World and Odyssey. If we assume that the 3DS will eventually be brushed aside in favor of the Switch, perhaps the…
Wow! Nice!
I love how this thread has basically just devolved to a chorus of “Holy shit, he beat <some game I recall from my youth being insanely difficult>???!?!?!”
Ha! My thought exactly. Also, Bart vs. the Space Mutants. I remember Kid Icarus getting kind of insanely hard at the end.
Yeah, the guy who created the games doesn’t own the rights to them anymore - I think EA was the publisher. So he just changed the name to “Mutant Football League” and is working on a version for PC and consoles which should be out in a year or so. http://www.mutantfootballleague.com/
I disagree, as I liked them both equally, but you are starred nonetheless. Are you guys part of the Mutant Football League kickstarter? If not you should be.
it’s a stretch but enjoy your star nonetheless.
They got right this time. That makes them competent, not brilliant.
My fault for watching CNN, but Rick Santorum was on there as their new conservative talking head saying that what is going on with the Trump brand isn’t a big deal, because a lot of press they get is negative. So in other words, since Ivanka’s brand is perceived as sinking, doing a little promo on Fox and Friends is…
I’d probably only recommend that once you have a feeling for the opponent’s deck composition. When you determine that he’s always going to counter a charging prince with skeleton army, go for it. The payoff is worth it!
It’s not as obvious as the prince charging, but it definitely does push the giant at a faster speed. Just verified it in training. Giant is “Slow”, mini-pekka is “Fast”.
I thought the same thing, but I think the spell was possibly at the end of the cycle, as Stephen mentioned he won over the course of 13 seconds. That, or the opponent was one of those people who thinks they need to play defense before attacking again even though they can easily win with a single card. I’ve played…
If you’re worried about skeleton army taking down your giants, then zap would seem like a key component of your deck since they can take down the whole army at once. But, since tornado is a pretty good card, you can stick with your current setup and spawn a giant or skeleton giant towards the back of your territory…
I mean, obviously buildings are hit-or-miss depending on what’s attacking you. Ground troops? Bomb tower is good for that. Tanks? Inferno tower requires additional counter-moves. Cannon is rather popular but mostly because it is just a 3-elixir distraction while your arena tower does additional damage. In one of…
Stephen had mentioned on twitter that he actually just subbed zap out for tornado. I feel like most of his epics aren’t at a good level yet, and that’s half of his deck. I’m wondering if he should stick with one building, one spell, one tank, and build the rest of his deck around supporting the tank. I use Lava…
well, yeah, it’s true for anything slow with a faster troop behind it. giant/mini-pekka is another variation of that.
The Prince sticks out to me as an aberration for some reason. What do you pair this with? Baby dragon? Prince by itself seems easily defeated as it will always be distracted by any troops or buildings in front of it.
